Issues while trying to steal a base

Hi there! I was playing an online game suddenly my opponent tried to steal 2nd base so I made the throw to second but as soon as I released the ball to 2nd he tried to return back to first and my second baseman stayed waiting for the tag to be applied eventhough he returned back to 1st base. I think if had the chance to throw the ball back to 1st base just right away I would've been able to catch him out. It was an issue back on 17 and I though they fixed it but I was wrong. C'mon bro. That's a very well known issue from a long time ago.

Since the last update, I’ve noticed that this happens with a higher frequency. Players will stop and try and run back to a base whether it’s stealing or on a throw from the outfield and the fielder just sits there stuck at the bag waiting for a runner that never comes.

Man! I'm mad at this can't stand this anymore! The thing is people are aweare of this already and they keep doing that [censored]!!

Ya that's a glitch I experienced in 19 as well. I had a situation where I knew my opponent was going to head back to third so I anticipated it and threw to third. He stood there waiting for runner to slide then applied tag to be safe
