It is the little lingering bugs that occasionally make me think the Devs are not trying.

I was playing Mini season last night and after a few minutes I tried to go into the player card menu to see what stats I need to upgrade my mods. After checking a few cards I tried to check another and the game froze and said connection to the show network lost and would return to the line up menu in Mini season. If I tried to go back in to the card info the same thing would happen. The only fix would be restarting the PS5. This continuously happened only when going into the card info in mini seasons. Idk if this is an issue anyone else noticed. The menus were much crisper and easy to naviagete with no freezing which was a plus. This must be a new thing, It is a bit tedious to deal with because I often go into the card infor to check and see my progress on my parallels.

I am baffled
I tend to be an SDS fanboy, but this year is so disappointing. I still get freezes when viewing/changing lineups. Mini Season stats are as wonky as ever. The menus are slow and laggy. Just sloppy.

Menu is still a mess

@MarioMendoza935_XBL yes!! The freezes while changing lineups will happen to me as often as once an hour. It’s ridiculous!! Plus the multitude of other issues. This year is a joke!

the bug that freezes/loses connection while trying to view several cards is new fun

I work in software (ERP). The product I work on is cloud-based. There are major updates every six months. We test everything.
I just feel like there's so much here that hasn't been quality tested or stress tested. I keep coming back to one point... If you can't get mini season stats right after years of the mode being in the game, you're not trying. I mean... Stats are everything in baseball. If you can't get them right, I'd rather you remove them from the mode until they're accurate. Otherwise, staring at a bunch of random numbers doesn't inspire confidence (in my last mini season, I had it set to 28 games, and by season end my opponent's lineup showed each player had played 77 games).

This is how I feel too. I usually defend them but this year I've been legit furious with their glitches. The fact that the squad freezing glitch still exists after it was prevalent last year is honestly pathetic. Honestly, it feels like they aren't trying anymore. Perhaps they replaced real people with AI without quality control lol

Hopefully, the executives Jim Ryan put in place have slowly been demoted and fired, and people who actually care about art and creativity are slowly leading these studios back in the right direction.

Just got to the wheel for the first time.... every space is silver, still works but nothing shows up.... like really? I know it's pretty determined but for real SDS?

Why hasn't the line through players faces been fixed yet? Or when the pitcher does a pickoff to second and you can't see anything. They seem like very simple fixes.
-
It seems like their backend has been so neglected for so long that it's now at a point where any changes just throw more and more new glitches.
It's sad that they'll take your money, don't reinvest in the game and largely ignore these glitches.

@Dolenz_PSN People are finally realizing how lazy and half-azzed these devs are, been saying this for years while always getting shadow banned lol

I mean u get out of things what u put into it ik this game was probably hard work and it’s people’s jobs and i support them to the best of my ability’s but even with yesterdays “big content” drop the game feels a lot more stale then 25 felt at this point. Idk could just be me and the fact that I’m currently unemployed and playing a lot more but it’s just starting to feel stale and not aging like wine let’s just say that. Just feels like nothing is changing and the things we are getting as “changes” aren’t necessarily as important as the things that should be changing.

Maybe it's not what you say but how you say it.
And this is not new to me either. I made a similar thread last year too.
