Why are people cheating?

Is that what's happening with the seemingly random minute pauses? I always thought it was, like, a kid playing who then had his dad take over or a friend having another better friend play for them. Never thought about the formal cheating angle. But it is very strange how some of the teams I've played who haven't hit anything, pause the game, then come back and hit significantly better.
It was like you said in around 2020 and it would be a kid who let their big brother take over for a few at-bats, or a kid playing events on bros account and then big brother would take over when they started losing bad. Now that pause is most likely them turning on and off their cheat program. Best way to know is if after they put up 4-5 perfect hits you bring in a submarine pitcher (Roger's or Ohday) and they pause again and can't hit water out of the boat.

Because they made the game ridiculous, so now it is ridiculous.

For events and ranked and weekend classic they should award points for pausing for the entire allotted time, bunt dancing, and pausing a whole bunch of times between hits or pitches. Because that makes me want to play more online.

@Graeves-_PSN I remember getting nintendo in 1986 . We had football baseball and hockey. They were simple and fun. Not full of [censored].

Same reason why people rage and insist on all meta squads.
Because they're man babies who haven't the emotional intelligence to cope with losing...in a video game.
