Last year, when I said to make the USA map(s) repeatable..
-
...I DID NOT want you to make the rewards non sellable.
What a slap in the face. What is even the point of repeatable conquest maps if you can't do anything with their rewards. It's stupid, it ruins offline play and the conquest experience.
Make conquest worth grinding and give us REPEATABLE maps, with REPEATABLE and SELLABLE rewards.
If you haven't completed the survey yet, make sure you advocate for more conquest and repeatable rewards. And more content for offline play in general. Not all of us play this game for PVP.
-
Why would they allow this?
-
@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS They did it in either 19 or 20 with the Prospects.
That was a guaranteed 30k every time you did the map, because when they gave you 1 per division you could sell them for 5k each. And then it was all 30 every time you did the map, so even QS would get you 30k in total.
-
Isn't it obvious. It was purposefully removed to try to force people into buying stubs from their precious market.

Seriously i remember on the launch stream they made a big deal about the maps being replayable but you only really need to replay one map one time to get the last 2 spring breakout cards. Pointless. The only real repeatable map is the WBC but thats kinda useless since you only get a gold WBC card.

Why would they allow this?
Great question.....
They should. Why you may ask? Because they allowed this in previous versions. You may ask why does that matter? Well, why it matters....
When I reached upper management for the company I work for, my immediate boss who is the senior VP, told me it's about bringing a consistent product that beats expectations every single time. Consistency thats the key word in all of this. One year it's a good product the next not so much, the next even worse and the next good again and then so forth and so on. Consumers expect consistency year in and year out. When you don't get consistency you get what we have now several player bases that are disgruntled because we know what this game is capable of. If your consistently bad no one will buy the game, conversely if it's consistenly good everyone will buy the game and if your inconsistent then you have people buying hoping it returns to it's roots and that is where the game is. SDS has some soul searching to do right now with this game because on its inconsistent track. This game is at a pivitol point right now. It's going to lose multiple player bases and the game will become fodder for the cheaters if things don't become consistently good year in and year out . MLB the show will be the game of what could've been.
-
@grimmdogg23_PSN I mean why would they allow you to keep grinding the same thing to keep getting the same cards sellable. You should get the xp and packs.
-
@DrBear100_PSN yall disgruntled about everything.
-
@apolloz_99_mlbts not disgruntled, but frustrated. And when those who are frustrated stop expressing that frustration, SDS REALLY needs to start worrying. Because it means we’ve left the building.

-
@DrBear100_PSN yall disgruntled about everything.
I think you are a plant, bro. I ain't disgruntled about [censored]. Just answering your question, if you don't like the answer then leave, go back to whatever you and your SDS cronies do.
-
@capardo_XBL tell me something yall complaining does it ever get done to your satisfaction? You’re buying a year to year game. They will never solve ever single issues that arises. Some of yall might need to leave anyways. It will make your life so much more peaceful

Whatever UC.

@LadySwampfox_XBL I honestly think they are just trolling with conquest now. You have two "repeatable" options: 10 games for non-sellable cards or 15 for a gold card. A single gold card. If that's not a middle finger, I don't know what is.
-
I just want something like last years draft map. That was a gold mine. That could be why they aren’t doing it this year they saw how many people got rich off it but if I people are willing to dedicate there time to do the map 2-3 times a day then we should be rewarded for giving are time.
-
It's the same reason they didn't do collections for Easter Egg and Paddy's day, but still made them vouchers....so they could say they're listening whilst actually doing all they can to stifle your ability to make stubs to funnel you towards spending real money.
-
Bingo. They are trying to squeeze out every bit of profit right now because soon that well is going to run very dry.

It's not gonna work on me lol. I'm too stubborn for that

It truly is an insult and a slap in the face

How is playing USA conquest map over and over better/different than playing a mini seasons over and over again? I get it, the return isn’t as “good” (per se), but the games are much easier. If you play the WBC mini season 5 times (35 games, so roughly the same as the 30-game USA map), you end up getting something like 50 standard packs, 10 BiaH packs (exchange those champ banners!), plus whatever packs I’m forgetting regarding the repeatable missions.
You’re not gonna get 30k worth of sellable cards each run through, but if you actually sell all the stuff off, you’ll be a lot closer than you think. It’s also a heck of a lot faster to run WBC five times than it is to do the USA map once.
The game is still the same: repeatable, monotonous grinding. It’s just a different format.

I find grinding conquest slightly easier than grinding mini seasons. Even the WBC mini season has given me trouble before. Also, at present, mini seasons is very buggy and broken:
- The teams will wear a different uniform from their pool instead of their own
- There are problems choosing my squad for the games
- Gameplay in mini seasons appears laggy at times. I'm not sure if the rally towels are the cause of the frame rate drop or what, but it affects at-bats.
- If I exit mini seasons between games and try to re-enter mini seasons from the single player modes menu, the game freezes and I have to restart the application.
Also I'd prefer to have multiple ways to grind against the CPU, not just one.
