People have been stealing bases against me since 2021 and I had no idea that slide stepping was even a thing I could do.

yeah they took it out of the games audio around then, i think it wasnt till you made the majors they made a comment about it. TBH i could be miss remembering, but i think it was only in for like one year, maybe two. But even then they didnt tell you how to do it, just left it up to google.
And if i remember correctly you couldnt even really aim while doing it till recently bc it made you stare at the base while doing it.
