It's been pointed out the AI Assigned Eugenio Suarez to the wrong team.
How is Bo not a diamond?
Almost every player reverts. I think they still use 3 year weighted scale to get the initial ratings and then adjust from there.
Judge fell from a 97 to a 92
Masyn Winn was an 83 and did even not make the list (may have fallen to a silver) -

A 97 win team and no diamonds?
You've been around long enough to know that team wins have no effect on individual diamonds.
The same way that say, a Picthers ERA has no effect on his ratings.

That's what I've heard. That said, I'm unsure how Trout still gets a diamond. I know he's a hugely popular player, but his past 3 years are pretty rough. I thought 2026 might be the year he started as a gold. If he continues to fall off this year, I'm curious to see if SDS actually lowers him to an 84.
Maybe they use a 15 year weighted scale for him

To @thebigpapa55_psn 's point about Bo Bichette, if you look at the last 3 years according to Baseball Reference:
War: Bo - 8.0 (lost half of 2024 due to injury)
Mike - 5.5 (lost half of 2023 and most of 2024 due to injury)OPS+: Bo - 114
Mike - 127 -
That's what I've heard. That said, I'm unsure how Trout still gets a diamond.
I agree that they have given Trout special consideration.
When I saw how quickly Paul Goldschmidt and Arenado fell to silvers. Goldy Won the NL MVP in 2022. He started 2023 in the low 90s and ended that season as an 81. Then the following year he ended up as a 73. So almost a 20 point OVR decline in 2 years.

How is Bo not a diamond?
Only moderate power, 3 years of low SB/low steal percent, and they probably slapped him with bad defensive ratings because hes never played 3B

@Dolenz_PSN The people making these ratings must not be real baseball fans. Some of these ratings don’t make any sense. They tanked Manny Machado’s defense after he DH’d most of a year because of a shoulder injury. He’s back to being an exceptional defender as we’ve seen in WBC and he has 60-70’s defensive ratings. He’s always had a great arm in terms of strength and accuracy and neither is good in game. He’s has a bronze defensive shield. Just 1 example of many head scratching decisions in their ratings.
