What are you hoping for in DD reveal

The captains for theme teams is a great idea if they attempted to balance out the number of cards issued for each team. I don’t want to be facing Yankee theme teams all year long. Even nerfing the captain boosts was done half baked.

@RKO24-7_PSN I like that TA idea, but casuals will complain it’s too much of a grind.
Most of the complaints about needing to grind over the years come from online players (specifically god squadders/meta chasers), not casuals. They get upset about grinding for cards they wont use (because they arent a scrub who happens to switch hit) to fill collections. This happened a LOT in 23.
I can understand their point, but thats a design issue for SDS to figure out. 24 was a disaster in terms of content, and 25 was focused around grinding for stubs to buy all the pack cards.
One thing in SDS's favor: there is a lot less fomo in this game than the competition in terms of limited content. Programs stay around all year. The good iterations of TA stay around all year. Online has rewind packs. Its really only the inning tracks that expire, but anything that is no sell on this tracks tends to come back at the end of the year too. So they really shouldnt be afraid of some really big grinds, because people can chip away at them over time
I'm also very much for the evolving captains. These should be either legends or players not currently on the team so as to not conflict with other cards. For example, Lindor would be a bad captain for the Mets because it might conflict with an all star card. But DeGrom would work just fine

I'll take the evolving captain ID a step further, it would be amazing if you could get different 'skins' for your captain by competing challenges, like taking a theme team through a mini season. As an example, if Alonso was the Mets captain completing a challenge could unlock the ability to use last year's milestone art
