Since SDS is so wants to make games shorter, yet is choosing their worst possible option, eliminating the windup, Ill give them some suggestions that will make the game shorter, decrease toxic play, and not interfere with the quality of play.

    1. Presentation
There is no reason that the cutscenes between innings, batter walkups, and the game introduction should take so long. If you have an opponent that refuses to skip these things, it is so annoying and can add about 5-10 minutes to overall game time. The game intro should end after the stat screen, and inning cutscenes and hitter walkups should take more than 5 seconds. Also, make it so one person can skip it, not requiring both people to skip.
    2. Replays
I genuinely have no idea why these are still in online play. They slow the game down, theyre toxic, and serve absolutely no purpose. Just get rid of them.
    3. Pitch Clock
Reduce the pitch clock to 10 seconds in online play, this would speed the game up so much against slow pitchers. Also make it so that after multiple pitch clock violations, the game is called due to griefing.
These changes would work and would speed up games just as much as pitching from the stretch only, except these increase the quality of play, while stretch only decreases it

I don’t see why they don’t just have a switch in the settings that you can turn on or off depending on what you prefer. I don’t really care all that much, but it seems like it’s important to a huge chunk of the player base. I wouldn’t be surprised if they undo that with an update at some point.

Reducing the pitch clock to 10 seconds isnt gonna speed up Satchel Paiges windup.

@SchnauzerFace_MLBTS this. Just simply give the player the choice

The most likely outcome is that by April people wont care anymore.

This seems really pointless, a three inning game take 10 to 15 minutes, a 9 inning game takes about 45 minutes. If you don't have the time just play another game, maybe make offline games savable and stop changing things that work fine.

Again this is my problem. They continue to fix things that nobody asked to be fixed.

2021 they introduced PinPoint, it was pretty much on point. They decide to fix it for no reason....making it worse each year. Go back to 2021, nobody asked you to fix it. What the gamers asked was you to fix the foul ball issue which is far worse than pitcher warm ups and in some at bats takes way longer.....so they did, after they told us the game was "working as intended". They trolled us, to the point of one stream in 2023 i think it was Rauri or Rori however you spell it, came on the live feed dressed up as one of us trolling us. What we got...shrinking sliders....which again we brought to their attention. Well they fixed it, "Ambush Hitting" and "Adjust to it". All because SDS ignored what most of us wanted and fixed what didn't need to be fixed. Its spiraled out of control. Just go copy the game text for 21. its not hard (maybe it is?), go back to that pin point pitching.

I love RoFlo, he's a great ambassador for the game. I might be the minority I don't and will not play with commentators on. Again doing something that nobody asked for.

The pack issue, or the best players in packs, you can earn but in most cases you want right way you probably are going to have to buy stubs. Hey SDS/Sony is in business to make money, not break even. Just be honest. Otherwise you get called "Pay to win" or "EA 2.0".

I'm going to buy the game again. (Definition of insanity) If i was a filthy casual (JK) i'd be less opt to comeback.
