With 26 around the corner, I was curious how many hours you’ve put into 25. I must say I feel like I enjoyed this year better than the last few, and I’ve got 450 hours in. Definitely fills my free time which I’m blessed to have a lot of since my wife is a flight attendant and our kids are all grown.

    Pros and Cons/Thoughts

    1. TA - I loved the progression and progress for individual teams vs divisions. I do wish there were constant rewards vs nothing from 350k xp to 1.5 mil xp.

    2. Power Creep - I love feeling like as I improve with more play time my team does. It gives me a reason to grind. Only negative is the quick jump to 99s at the All Star break. I’d actually like to see about half as many 99s next year. I play offline mainly so to be fair, I’m not worried about facing the same lineups.

    3. Conquest, Mini Seasons, and Diamond Quest - loved the maps and repeatable rewards for most. MS improved greatly from 24 and the rewards and how many were solid. Not a fan of DQ. It takes too long to work through the mode and I don’t feel like the odds are in our favor for the best card rewards.

    4. Multiplayer - no complaints since I hardly play that mode. I actually do like the combination of all MP modes.

    5. Collections and Market - it took me all year to finish and I had to buy the big 3. It did feel like pack luck was rough this year and the market was dead from the jump. I did like the rewards and variety of cards types to collect.

    6. Programs - they hit a home run with content drops and almost all were bangers.

    7. Gameplay - CPU defense needs to have the same penalties as user controlled because it is frustrating when they always get perfect jumps. Hitting was definitely nerfed. I know baseball has variables but I’d rather them tighten the window for perfect perfects but nearly guarantee a hit or bomb based on power attributes. It’d make me feel more accomplished if I did get the PP. I do get how difficult it is the create the RNG. The fun far outweighs any complaints.

1020 hours here all on Offline Franchise. I know that’s not how a lot of people play but my dream job is GM of a baseball organization so it’s a cool hobby I do with The Show

Really hope they enhance the details of franchise and go more in-depth (NHL is super in-depth) I am praying they at least come back with backloading and front loading contracts and options. Would also love to see player moral back. Just so much they can do to make it better if they put in the effort

I thought mlb 25 gameplay was best yet, hopefully they just add to it. Maybe work on the AI. If you are patient enough, almost every count went to 3-2 and still glitches in CPU baserunning and pitching changes
