Team Affinity RIP

Voucher exchange and no programs. I miss when TA release day brought with it a ton of playable content. Program paths with many rewards including the TA bosses and henchmen. I get the idea of the voucher exchange but our reward for playing all year is a bunch of cards and nothing to do with them. Does anyone else wish there would have been TA program paths and conquests released?

While I think Team Affinity in 2025 was a big disappointment, the overall Finest drop is great so far. Last year SDS mailed in the tail end of the season, but this year we got the year's best program in October and even a new mini season in November.
And that mini season has some good repeatable rewards for using finest cards. I will absolutely play it a few times

I mean, do you disagree? I have no problem with the voucher exchange. But I don’t understand why All Star and Finest, two of the biggest content releases of the year were not TA programs. I turned the game on to check it out an hour ago and I’m reading a book now. It just seems like they’d want to release things to attract their players to play. It’s fine, just doesn’t give me any incentive to play.
I am glad they added a Mini Seasons and conquest map. But I miss Team Affinity from years past.

No, I am not a fan of TA this year. The fact that I have to live with a Sonny Gray finest simply because SDS did not see fit to give St Louis a pitcher card earlier is kind of the last straw. You can't tie your hands like that when you are supposed to be selecting the best on the team.
But I was talking about that you posted that there was no content after they had released the conquest and mini-season.

@Dolenz_PSN oh gotcha. Yeah I’m glad they at least gave us a Mini Seasons and map. But my gripe the overall direction of TA as a voucher exchange.

I love how they keep trying to give people free TA points....the data must really tell them everyone ignored TA (which is a shame). Just playing the game normally should've given you plenty of TA...yet everyone is crying about being short for some reason

The fact the "finest conquest" gives 0 finest cards or packs, and simply is just a way for them to give us more of the same stupid deluxe packs weve been opening and quick selling for 4 months is embarrassing.
Glad they found a way to give the Yankees 5 more cards though, definitely necessary even though they have twice the amount of legend/flashbacks as 90% of teams in the game.

Just read your other reply... dont fully disregard that statement on miniseasons though. It was cool at first, they clearly started using it as a crutch.

My problem is the massive lack of rewards after the first set of Diamond rewards. You get All Star and Finest vouchers, but barely anything else. And after the Finest vouchers nothing till the finger icon.

The rewards in the Finest Mini Seasons actually look pretty good. I plan on starting it today.
