Wainwright is not getting a pitcher card. My guess is that they only had his rights in the context of HRD X and cannot make other cards for him.

    Andrew Miller doesn’t have a 99, right?
I would like Brian Roberto too.

I question this list the closer I look at it. For one it is missing at least a couple names like Lou Brock, Orlando Cepeda and Ryan Ludwick. It also has Yasmani Grandal, who technically is not a legend yet since he has a live series card in the FA pool (if you include him then you need to also include players Matt Carpenter, Lance Lynn, and others who did not land with a team this past season and retired with only a FA card)

I would like to see a retirement program as there are a handful of guys who officially retired this year and only have live series FA cards. Since some of them may never be in the game again it would be nice to see them get a final good card.

Here is my list of Legends (as defined in the game) without 99s. My guess is that some of the Negro League guys get removed from this list on Friday when they announce the Negro League Collection. I could see them adding in some content to give some of them 99s and make it so there is more to the collection than just turning in your existing cards.

I think they lost rights to Mattingly.
I think Feller will be next WS reward.

I’ll be honest, the only cards that remotely get me excited is Lou Brock, Bob Feller, and maybe Eckersley or Andrew Miller (only because of lack of closers, and in Miller’s case lack of lefty closers.

But in terms of “endgame” and “god squads”, none of these guys really have a WOW factor.

I mean the Catfish Hunter and Josh Bell selection for DQ kinda show SDS is out of touch. Who wants those players? Who wants a Josh Bell card this time of year? His family members? Kurtz was also a crappy choice for inning boss. We already have several 99 versions of him. Who wanted that card? Cmon SDS! Do better.

Honestly, none of the position players excite me either. Which is sad because I'm huge Brain Roberts fan but I would never use him with having Spooky Marte, Lighting Turang or Lighting Polonco. With that being said, I do agree that Brock desperately needs a 99 card, it's a shame he hasn't had one yet. I hope that Gagne, Miller and Nen get 99 cards. I could really use them in my bullpen. Robin Roberts would be a starting pitcher I'd love to see get a 99 card his curve has always been nasty.

I've just always been of the opinion that if you are a Hall of Famer then you need to have a 99. It is especially important if you are trying to push team based theme teams with Team Affinity and captains.

San Francisco fans deserve a 99 Willie McCovey whether he ever appears on a god squad or not.

The Nationals probably deserve a 99 Gary Carter to replace Color Storm Keibert Ruiz.

Orlando Cepeda was a Rookie of The Year and 3rd place finisher for MVP for the Giants and won an MVP with STL. Why does he only have one Gold card?

I still have hopes that some of these guys will still get their cards, maybe as retro Finest cards.
