crowd population

ik games don’t really care about the graphics for the crowd but i feel like as you get further into rating the crowds should increase. like legitimate playoff crowds when you make world series or even championship series. instead half of them leave after the 4th inning
-
This is a great suggestion @SDS_JoeK_PSN can we get this in MLB 26
-
I think crowd animations contribute to frame rate and lag issues. In favour of less (COVID style)

The fact that crowds would effect anything in a "next gen" game is mind numbing. This game has looked identical for the last 6 years besides menu changes. The stadium graphics are so Xbox 360 type graphics. Its embarrassing.
-
Full transparency, I have no idea off the top of my head what the technical limitations would be here. That said, I think the idea is cool and I'm happy to pass it on to the team.
-
Triple Play on PSX used to have low crowds as teams stunk it up through the season. There were graphical limitations, but they got it right.
Triple Play '97 even had individual All-Star jerseys on players for the ASG back then. I'd love to see that. -
I believe Baseball Stars had something similar, where the crowd was bigger based on players' rating and team record or something like that.

@Finn_Scotus_MLBTS maybe the sequels as I didn’t play them, but the original only had one background (stadium and fans).
Edit to add: in game no; but postgame your players’ prestige ratings affected how much money you made after a win

Thank you. I knew there was something involving crowd size or rating of some sort but couldn't remember details.

@Finn_Scotus_MLBTS yeah the in-game crowd wad always the same.
Post-game, you’d get a manager crying and a manager smiling with his arms out and a pile of cash would fall in them. In the background you saw the crowd size relative to your team’s total prestige.
I’d create teams, trade for all their 80+ HP players, fire them all and boost their prestige to max first , then play only the Lovely Ladies with 2 controllers (1st inning 10-0 mercy) in a 25 game season because they had the most prestige. Rake the money, boost attributes. When done created another team, max prestige and played against former team (max prestige on both squads).
