Babe, Oscar, Biz, Stanton, Abner Uribe, Tatis, Randy all seem VERY inflated. Why?

Not sure but all star chase cards are high too... Maybe people hoarding their stubs since we just got huge drop and John Don, trout, etc should be coming soon

I could get Bautista now but don't wanna spend like 55k a piece on 4 cards I'll never use

Very easy to get a lot of stubs right now.

I wish I understood the market. I don’t understand how if people are hoarding stubs, it would make these cads increase in value. AND if that was the case SDS, would do something to combat it. Like release more of that card.

My memory isn’t that good, but I don’t think cards have been this high (in general) this late in the games cycle.

It will be when the “forever” inning starts that I’ll be able to finish most of these collections.

Your memory is not that good.

In previous years, the early BR/WS rewards were this high/higher at this stage because they typically didn't release Rewind packs until September/October.

    This year, it's the CHASEs.

not to mention things like flawless event cards. I know Nimmo and Senga finest back to back in 2023 cost me a lot, but it was also easier to make stubs.

Not that stubs are that hard in 2025 at this stage.

@SaveFarris_PSN And in 17 Trout was 500k all year, and Bryce was around 300k the entire year.

And I can't remember the year, but there was a year that Signature Billy Wagner was an Inning boss, and the cheapest he got was around 40 to 50k, but after that inning he shot up and was around 500 to 600k since you couldn't get him anymore. I think that was the same year that Signature Chris Sale was a BR reward and he was near a million the entire time.

I think the rise in those chase cards is a correction from the flash sale. Those cards dipped during and shortly after the flash sale and then rebounded to near pre-flash sale prices. Mackey has risen a tad, but that’s because he will be at worst a bench player EG option. This has happened all year.

Everything is inflating now, for some reason. Just yesterday, you could spend 2 hours getting Glaus in diamond quest and make 60k (plus another 25k for Sutton). Thats so many stubs in so little time

    Flash sale lowered some

Those all star cards from chase packs are still insanely overpriced. I could get Bautista but I'd have to spend like 200+ k on Yordan, acuna and I 2 more cards and I'd likely jot even use Bautista at this point

But assuming next collection is like trout or mantle or someone I would want I'd likely need him anyway
