How do you feel about the Inning XP path?
-
Not the rewards themselves, but the method used to progress it.
I feel like playing games has very little impact on it, and its heavily program driven (and MS/Ranked too). This works for me for the most part, but I know its at the point where some people feel the need to save xp for next season
Does this work for people? Should we go back to where more emphasis was on gameplay experience (which was less friendly for people with less time to play)? Or go the opposite direction into something more mission based (dailies, weeklies, etc) but with enough leeway so you didnt have to be on top of things all the time?

If the spins were more rewarding, less people would save xp for later.

Last year...would've been a problem. They've been extremely benevolent with the amount of 2X XP weekends. Years past it was twice a season maybe? Seems like every other weekend we're getting double XP. I just want more XP rewarded on Defense somehow. More for DP's or Put outs or flat out more for K's...Throw an immaculate inning on Rookie and get 90 xp tops is ridiculous...why I don't care about defensive attributes or who i put on the mound as an offline player...just give me a guy with a quick windup so I can get back to hitting...

I'd feel better if they reverted the XP gains from games to previous levels. Two years ago they quietly cut it in half, and have dodged questions about it ever since. What we now get as "double XP" is just the regular amount we used to get.

Ppl don't save xp to be able to finish the next innings path, they save the xp to get to the boss packs quickly enough to sell it for a lot.

Wasn't that the year they added the wheel spin?
So on one hand, games are less meaningful now while progressing the xp path. On the other hand, games are still meaningful after the main path has ended.
