That kind of sucked. Really shut the door on one of the few chance the Mariners had today. Great play (and performance) by McLean. Heckuva MLB debut.

This was great! LGM.
McLean said:"Bye, bye, losing streak-eak-eak pie!"
It does happen in Showdown. That stinks! -
Assuming Topps gives him a card, and 99% chance they do, McLean should be the Mets first Topps Now card this year

To be fair looking at the Topps Now Archive they have only had two options all year not named Lindor, Alonso or Soto and we know that they usually don't give that caliber of player a Topps Now Card.
Nimmo got a card in April (He eventually got a Flashback Topps now)
David Peterson - He should have gotten one for a CG Shutout. I have no idea why they skipped him -

It does happen in Showdown. That stinks!LGM! The Mets have been my NL squad since 1987. It sucked it was against the Mariners, but really happy for McLean hoping this gets them back on track but if they could lose one more to the Mariners tonight before going on an eight game winning streak, that would be perfect.

@MarinerMatt01_MLBTS I've always liked the Mariners, from day 1 in '77, I think it was. I loved seeing Kingdome, and later Safeco in the Gran Turismo games at the 'Seattle' track back in the day, and if course, Mina Kimes is a big fan.

I have no idea why they skipped himYeah, I assume they didnt give Nimmo the card because they had the flashback planned, but a card for having an 8 RBI game will be better than one for making a great catch. Not giving him a spotlight for hitting two grand slams in a week was also disappointing.
Peterson has been skipped for what should have been three no brainer cards: His series clinching save last playoffs, his Topps Now card, and his All Star card
SDS has given the Mets 3 really strong program cards in the last couple weeks though
Topps did give McLean a card, but they also gave two Yankees yesterday and Topps now spots are artificially limited (Fried wont be in the drop, but Rice almost definitely will)
