Hitting Struggles?

Did SDS quietly tweak hitting or something recently? So I broke down my runs and hits average in last 5 games of June compared to my first 5 games in July.
Last 5 games of June: 10.6 Runs, 16.8 Hits
First 5 games of July: 2.8 Runs, 6.2 Hits
I appreciate that it’s close to feeling like a real baseball game but when I’m late swinging about 80-85% of the time now in July it feels off.

Yes. It’s other post on the forums detailing how it seems like they nurfed hitting or turned up the DDA. Good contact / good timing, even perfect/perfect like 80 - 90%of the time result in an out now.

So far in this innings ranked I would say no hitting hasn’t been nerfed at all from my experience.
-
Nope it’s playing the same. Be mindful of the tinfoil hats

I've been playing only offline for about a month and I feel like I've hit pretty bad. But I haven't been playing as often and I've been jumping from rookie (ta missions) to all star (conquest) to legend (diamond quest) and been using lots of cards I don't normally use (royals, white Sox, spotlight)
So those are prob reasons why I'm hitting bad

There's something up, what it is I can't say, but hitting is definitely "behaving" differently since the last update. I mentioned in another thread that it feels like the inconsistency of Vet and below has crept into the higher difficulties now. By that I mean on Vet pitchers would basically walk me 75% of the time...now I play on AS vs the CPU (because that's usually where I hover in ranked), and it seems like now even they are either missing by 1.5 feet, or getting those black-of-the-black calls- with nothing in between.

I can't speak for online but offline nothing has changed. Vs CPU I can still score 30 runs and put up 40 hits in 9 innings. In Conquest most games are 1-0 with 1 or 2 hits on the sane exact difficulty. EV, Launch Angle, and contact still don't mean much as Good/Good with 100+ EV and 30 degree launch angle are mostly easy flyouts to mid outfield but Just Early with 100 EV and a 13 degree launch angle leaves the yard. The game is just an RNG arcade game since release and has played the same since release.

@Ledfoot_19_PSN if you consistently put up those numbers vs CPU…..well done! What level do you play? Do you use a particular stadium to grind?
Definitely interested cuz I put up nowhere near those numbers in a vs CPU game.
I use directional hitting and pitching. Been using Costco field ( but feel it’s been nerfed lately). I play on veteran all the time.
I agree with you about hitting being “unrewarding “ in 2025. All about keeping the “power creep” under control, IMO.

Play the Rockies in Colorado and make sure you face Dollander. I usually chase him by the 2nd inning and then feast on the Pen. That's my go to for Stat grinding for TA. I don't score 30 every game but it's easy to put up 18 to 30 runs and strike out 18 to 22 batters.

Let me check my notes...yeah, nope!
I sucked equally pre and post updates
