Stop comparing an ultimate team mode to PGA Tour's MyCareer type mode. Its a different type of mode entirely, closer to RTTS (does RTTS even have a multiplayer element? I got bored with it super fast)

Oh, I get that. Simply meant people love to say no matter how far the Show has fallen it’s still better than Madden or NBA or FIFA.
That’s not how comparison works. You have to compare previous versions of games to themselves. It’s crystal clear the direction has changed for one reason or another.
As for simply buying the game being worse than the shills I disagree. I don’t spend nearly as much on the game as I used to and I still play because I love baseball, hope things will change for the better even though they don’t, and there are no other viable options.
Bottom line the game requires more time and money to field the “fun” cards and the reward for time invested has fallen off a cliff compared to just a few years ago.
Dolenz can’t deny that and he still buys the game despite admittedly not enjoying it as much. So maybe he is calling himself out to be worse than the shills even though I don’t believe that to be the case.
