I understand the underlying attributes but these things are still hard to swallow.

Brendan Donovan is listed as a 2B on MLB.com. The Cardinals list him as an IF, He is on the all star ballot as a 2B. He has started 44 games at 2B and played there in 51 games so far. He has played LF only 13 times.
But in the game he is still listed as a primary LF and being evaluated for his overall as a left fielder.
He leads all NL 2B in

Hits - 77
Doubles - 20

WARHe just got downgraded from an 81 to an 80 and now is teetering on falling to a silver.

Those have needed revamped for years. If you are effective but don't strike out a lot of guys then you will never have a great overall. K/9 is king in their pitcher ratings.
