I hate to beat a dead horse but what on earth is going on …. There is a very large number of us that have to
- Restart the game every other hour or hour due to freezing
-events match constantly get dropped and often you can’t find a match at all. - Gameplay worse than I can remember since 21’
- NO update to graphics engine in years
- numerous bugs and glitches after every content drop
- Lack of consistent response From SDS in the forum
- Lack of code drops working. Numerous people were given errors
- Business model tailored around pay to play getting worse
I mean…. What are we doing here and why aren’t these things getting addressed. Why can’t someone from SDS just chime in and at-least give us some transparency. At the very least answer some of these questions and if these are things that cannot be fixed just let us know. I’m in my mid 30s and have a great career and a beautiful woman. This game is broke yet I still spend a few hours a day minimum when home playing it. It’s like a drug you can’t quit but you want to lol. Do we just need our baseball fix ? Anyone have any explanations or can help? Is there a MLB the show anonymous hotline I can call for THE SHOW addiction because I’m at a loss.

I’m honestly thinking of just going back to The Show 24. The gameplay is terrific and I already have my team so I can just play.

That's funny that people are saying that now because around this time last year was when a lot of the streamers were playing previous versions of The Show because of how bad '24 was perceived. The TA drop around this time was Zach Collins and Owen Miller lol.

Most issues seem to be on Xbox this year; I get the occasional freeze in lineup management but that’s pretty much it.

While I’m not defending 25…I really don’t know if that’s possible, I think this is a bit of an exaggeration.
25 is sharper than 24, and they introduced the hair thing in 24 (or was it 23? No, I think it was 24) and refined it in 25 (so much so, it overheats some PS5s). I think it was 24 where they fixed the umpires mouths (so they didn’t look like they were singing in a choir and their lips looked like they were actually making a call). I think it was 23 where they messed around with the runners retreating back to the bases so they didn’t look like Superman making a crash landing.
So, there have been some updates to the graphics engine.

Just fix the crashing and freezing when I go to manage lineups. It's been going on since day one.
