Program points?

I do not understand how these are accumulated by playing the game.
So I finished a conquest game I had 179 points. People say it is XP. I am at Gold 24. I do collections to get all the teams up to 30 cards per team. I was part way there already, I do enough collecting that I jump to 26 Gold. So that is a lot of XP I gained... still at 179. Ok so I play a stronghold conquest game on HOF, I lose 1-0 in the bottom of the 3rd inning. (Sidenote. It was hilarious how I lost, 1st batter reaches on an infield hit because my 2B bobbles the ball and cant throw out runner, next batter blood one in RF, RF bobbles it allowing the runner to go from 1st to 3rd, next batter singles to left, game over) any way I come out of the game, still at 179 program points?????

I think it’s XP earned while playing a game. You don’t earn very much while losing 0-1, and I know collection do don’t do anything. I played a conquest game where I won 13-0 and got 2 stars. Only thing I can tell you, it sure would be nice if they told us!

Yeah, I agree would be nice to know an answer, and yes so while playing seems to be the only thing that makes sense.

Its xp earned while playing

Last year I found I had to score two runs to get a point. Not sure if it’s the same this year.

Its xp earned while playing the game. It's at certain intervals and Carries over between games, so you might play a conquest game and get no stars, then win one 15-0 and get two.
