Franchise create a player

Has anyone realised that when you load into the franchise and you sign like a generic player that you can edit to your team all his stats come under 2024 and not 2025 even if you win awards like rookie of the year or a silver slugger it all comes under 2024 it really bugs me out. Only something that started coming up a few weeks ago. Sds need to fix this but I don’t think they’ve realised

Also, they still haven't fixed the announcer calling the wrong last name in the field when you edit an existing player. Pretty sure they're using AI to code this game at this point.

Has anyone actually noticed this, been happening for a few months now, I like to sign players from free agency when I start a save cause some players have quirks and good hot zones ( another thing that bugs me out) why does Bobby Witt and gunnar Henderson) have all blue cold zones I mean even drafted players would hit 40* plus home runs and be all blue at least have some sort of system where it gradually goes to red and don’t get me started on the quirks.
But anyways back to my original point when I do sign a player from free agency and add them to my franchise all their stats come under 2024 and not 2024 you can win any award it’ll be under 2024 u make the all star game it comes under 2024 SDS we are in 2025 lol I know it’s not a majorly big deal but it bugs me out a lot I usually add the created player to my franchise and player lock but can’t do it anymore.
Long paragraph but anyone let me know if this happens to them or if it’s just me

@bolua11_PSN if there are created players that are editable and have quirks can you plz save them to the Roster Vault. Or name them. I just wanna make a catcher with catcher pop time and dead red but can’t. Would be nice for our created players if we could edit the quirks but that’s a hope for another year, again.

@Dinger_Dan19_PSN I don't think you can add quirks to editable players in Franchise. In fact, in create player on the rosters, you can't make a 2 way player. Even though the option is there. You can only do that on RTTS. I've been able to make a 2 way player. Like Babe Ruth, for instance. But, I had to sim for a certain amount of time by starting Franchise with no DH. Then I had to export him and insert him into the roster I was building.
Yes, I know Babe is in the Legends. But, when you play Franchise, Legends won't get inducted in the HoF after they retire.
