When's the Charlie Hustle program? + Manfred is an absolute POS.

@PAinPA_PSN Thts thew POS part though. Its almost like literally saying, "Just not when you are alive to enjoy it." Like they were just waiting for him to die. And they were

@AstrosJake_PSN You're right, I honestly don't know anywhere near the whole story on the Astros that year, but you can't trust the league to investigate something when the truth could cause it to lose money, and in the absence of a John Cullen like person doing a forensic analysis of it, we'll never know about the playoffs. My point of bringing it up is the double standard. I'm for Rose being in, and I'm for Bregman and Altuve being in if they get selected too. People make mistakes, and maybe Altuve is the Joe Jackson figure there. As sure as I'm sitting here, though, nobodey is going to get 4,256 hits again, no matter how many games they add to the playoffs.
Keeping the steroid era guys out, that obviously would have been there anyway, when it was the league and Selig that really failed us is wrong also, but the Baseball Writers Association of America aren't having it.

@JasonAEMales_PSN Altuve is not Bregman, Correa, Gurriel, Springer, Marisnick, and the worst Beltran and Marwin Gonzalez. Altuve was proven to not partake. Beltran and Cora are the ones who implemented that whole thing. Those young guys had no say TBH. Even Hinch, the coach hated it. Hee saw they were literally worse while doing it. Got rid of it when Cora and Beltran left and they had their best teams in franchise history after that. Despite blowing the 2019 WS lol

@JasonAEMales_PSN A lot of people hate Mike Fiers for coming out publicly with what happened, but to his credit he tried to go to MLB first. He came out publicly only after MLB refused to look into it. Like you said, it’s better to bury your head in the sand, or minimize the situation and move on as quickly as possible. And you could say MLB has done that about A LOT of things the last several decades.
But yeah, I agree with everything you said. And it’s going to be a really sad induction to watch when it happens. But I hope Reds fans pack the place.

I'll just never understand the Pete Rose obsession at all.
He was a very good player, who had longevity on his side. I liken him to Craig Biggio, a little better average, less power, but similar caliber of player.
He was kept out of the Hall of Fame ultimately not for his gambling, but for being a complete scumbag. Hes not the only player this has happened to. Curt Schilling for one, was kept out of the hall because he is an [censored]. If Schilling had just kept his mouth shut he was on track to get in. Same deal with Rose, if he showed any class at all he would have died a hall of famer
Its kind of funny how people haven't figured out the real reason this has happened.
What numbers did Pedro Martinez and Tom Glavine wear? -
He isn't coming. Deal with it. Rose was a POS, and the reason they waited til he was dead was simple, they didnt want to be associated with him. We can't deny how great of a ball player he was. We can deny how good of a human being he was.

If they add Rose than I demand they bring back Wander Franco.

Incoming Luis Polonia program

Cannot wait to put Felipe Vázquez back in my bullpen. Chad Curtis sitting on my bench.

Mel Hall Signature Card arriving soon.

I thought I read that part of the reason they waited until he died, maybe the main one, was to send a clear message to future players that a lifetime ban is indeed a lifetime ban. You will not enjoy an association with MLB, including the HOF, while you are alive. If so, I can respect that even if the softie in me bristles at it.
