I’ve had it for a while and probably over the policy time to refund it. I have massively unenjoyed these games the past few years, and it’s disappointing DD is unplayable at some points. Why is dynamic sliders even active in DD? You give unfair advantages to one side all because of RNG. A online game should be a level playing field with stats going up against stats. Please do more in presentation for homeruns, I loved the home run presentation but just take out the camera panning the player just have it staring at the ball the whole time and it would’ve been good. You guys have good ideas you just execute it so poorly, then when it doesn’t work you guys go welp never doing that again instead of just coming up with something cool and interesting.
As a big franchise player, I was excited to see this years franchise because last years was actually really good and I felt we where going in a good direction. Then this years franchise came out. How can you downgrade so hard. The UI is terrible in franchise. They got rid of the little circle of stats when going through the roster. Looking at your players in the roster screen looks terrible, it’s so small you can barely even see how many guys you have in the mlb and triple A, double A etc. You have to scroll endlessly, before you look at your players and see the entire mlb roster and which ones are in the mlb, and your best triple A guys. Before you could just see how many outfielders for example you had and where they were in the system. You looked great and it was easy. Why change something that wasn’t broken. You guys are trying to do to much, it’s just quality of life things, you guys try to change everything and it ends up terrible. The contract system this year was a joke. Signing players is dumb and takes forever because they put you in pointless loading contract screens that make the pace of franchise so slow. I loved the club options in franchise and back loading or front loading contracts. But you can’t even do that in this one? Like why? You guys need to be adding to those options not adding here but taking things away over there. It doesn’t make sense. Like why is contract offers like the scouting system. It’s not.. We don’t need “lock anything in” it’s just boring and unfun. Last years contract system was fun and you guys changed it. For some reason. Instead of just adding to it.. Like contract logic, sick idea but in execution it was terrible. Because you guys changed how contracts work in the first place.
Road to the show. Honestly very happy with that experience, the college idea was sick and fun, everything runs pretty smooth, I love the tokens, you added extra equipment which was sick. And there’s a lot to positive places to go with more things added. NOT CHANGED. Added. Please have that mindset. And I think these games would be so much better.
It’s just sad to see, because you can tell the devs don’t play there game. In the dev tournaments. There so bad and can just tell they don’t play. It’s all word of mouth for how they develop. Play your game. Feel how it operates. Be a different than 2K and madden in terms of how you develop. Be hands on.
With that said, as a long time player unfortunately until I see improvement I will not be pre ordering these games anymore.

I agree that the No Doubt HR animation is awful this year, but I've only seen it when you're playing the CPU. I haven't played franchise so I can't have an opinion on it yet. But I also agree that the RTTS improved drastically this year. Also I vote to put "Big Subwoofer" in every The Show game, that was heat in '22
