Question about MP program and WC

A certain fellow has been vocal about not getting a reward from the MP program while playing Weekend Classic (RS).
Are we sure that WC is completely separate? The MP Program goes through Monday, so do I have to play Events to finish it? Was it a bug or a feature that WC was possibly excluded?
In my mind it shouldn’t, but I’m being squeezed for time to complete it if the weekend doesn’t count.

If you look at missions in the Multiplayer 2 Program, it lists Weekend Classic and 1 vs 1 Ranked as separate game modes under Where to Play. I cannot access the old/ended program but it is possible that the ranked-specific missions in the first program only listed 1 vs 1 Ranked and Ranked Co-op under Where to Play. If they did, then Weekend Classic would theoretically not count for those missions on purpose (you’d have to do them in Ranked Co-op once Weekend Classic starts as 1 vs 1 Ranked would be unavailable). It’s possible they did mention Weekend Classic and it just didn’t work properly. I don’t know since I cannot check. But it would seem possible to have ranked-specific missions that cannot be completed in Weekend Classic based on the Where to Play listings we see now.
For Multiplayer 2 Program, there’s only one mission that requires you to play a specific game mode (give up 3 HRs in events). Everything else lists 1 vs 1 Ranked, Ranked Co-op, Battle Royale, Events, and Weekend Classic. There’s 155 stars available but only 150 stars are needed to finish the program. As that mission is worth 5 stars, you could skip it and get to 150 stars without ever playing events. Or you could play events since it’s a really easy mission and instead skip a different 5 star mission.

@yankblan_PSN He didn't get it because his mission was to get 1 hit in ranked...and he got it in weekend classic and he decided to get pissed about it instead of just playing co-op and getting the hit. Or getting the hit earlier in the program. WC is a multiplayer mode but it is not the same as ranked.

That was me who complained. Lol
I think because WC was such a mess last time, that game didn't register other than showing it was played.
I didn't get credit for the 1 Hit in Ranked. And it didn't affect my Ranked rating as I'm still rated 0-0.
On a separate note:
This program I figured I would try BR to see if I could draft Ozzie and Yelich, to try them out, and maybe just buy them outright.
Whats funny is that with ALL the BR I played, with a handful if Event games sprinkled in, I made it ALL the way to 150pts and NEVER had Ozzie or Yelich come up in a BR draft.

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN No. It's because WC is a different mode than Ranked Seasons. Which is why you didn't get a hit in Ranked seasons and you don't have a Ranked rating...because you didn't play a Ranked Seasons game. You played a Weekend Classic game.
Can you argue it shouldn't be this way? Of course and rightly so (in my opinion). However this is what happened.

I have no proof / bad memory of WC1 … but to answer your question: I would say: No, they are not separate. It is still ranked season and you can complete the mp program

@yankblan_PSN Not sure what you are specifically referring to, but I did make World Series during weekend classic and did get the reward. I think I was already done with the program though. None of my wins/loss during the weekend classic went on my record though.

So I won the match but the game claims there's no game results available which messed up my streak which is very unfortunate. I won the next game thinking it'll fix and nothing happened.im sad because of the extra match I had to replay I lost and now I can't claim my classic pack that I earned for winning 4 in a row
sorry to bother but playing on hall of fame difficulty just for that to happen to me sucks
