Diamondbacks extremely moment 10 runs
-
Does anyone have any advice on how to complete the diamondbacks extreme moment? I’m using zone hitting and power swinging. I understand it’s optional however I’d rather not do the missions as those take longer to progress

That's how they get you with this kind of moments it's almost like a "get rich quick" scheme.
For I'd say 95% of the player base, it will take people much longer to complete that moment than it would to just do the required missions. I always like to give the Extreme challenges a few tries, but the key is to know when to fold because the next thing you know it's been over an hour and you end up walking away with absolutely ZERO progress when you could have made a solid dent going the traditional route.
Some of these harder moments are easier than others, but after like two attempts I knew this one was going to be a maddening time sink and bailed.

@SakAttack87_PSN the missions are quite easy; 3 HR by 1B, 3 SBs by CF, 25 Ks with Rangers… you don’t even have to do the 13 HRs with Brewers to finish it.

You'll complete most of the missions while just normally playing the game...

For 99% of players, the missions are easily faster.
If you’re a completionist or something and need to do it, it’s likely best to normal swing because it’s on all star and you should try to be aware of the clutch vs H/9 attributes for the pitchers and clutch vs contact for the hitters. You should also try to start off with the first 4 (at minimum) reaching base or just restart.
When I say clutch vs H/9, an example is the first pitcher Jordan Wicks. He has 102 clutch and 55 H/9. If you get a hit with Grichuk, don’t bother advancing extra bases. Either hit a single or a HR. That way, when you’re using Josh Naylor, you get Naylor’s 59 contact vs Wicks’ 55 H/9 (advantage hitter) instead of Naylor’s 80 clutch vs Wicks’ 102 clutch (advantage pitcher).
Now, if you’re restarting if the first 4 don’t reach base, it’s not a big deal vs Wicks. But this difference really matters if you get down to the Cubs bringing in Merryweather (73 H/9 vs 35 clutch) because you would want to keep a runner in scoring position as much as possible vs Merryweather.
But like, again, if you’re asking for advice, the missions will likely be faster.
