I'm sorry that people are still able to profit from quitting online games. But, the thing that strikes me odd here is that the so-called "Co-Op" mode of this game is supposed to be between people who know each other and can often be folks who team up on the same virtual team as it can be friends who team up to square off against each other.
So, have we really devolved as a culture so badly that we cannot even have friendly online games without such nonsense happening?

Well, in that case, I think the larger loss said person received was to blow off a friend, and that's far more important than "winning" a virtual baseball game.

Yup we matched up with the same people 2 times in a row, we basically got booted right out of the lineup screen. They are 31-0 with only 9 innings played. They have somehow figured out how to just boot you from the game

why is this still a thing. it’s so frustrating because you play a great game and then bc they quit after 5 innings first they get the win. it’s hard for players like me to get to 800 rated by myself so i choose to play coop for some help. with their stupid glitch i’ll never be able to get higher then 400. making it just a bit harder to get collections finished

Why don’t we have cooldown penalty’s this year? This would take away the issue real quick for the people who wanna find a way to leave the game and getting the win

I was up 5-1 the other day with my friend hit a 3 run homer with yordon and they quit out and we got the loss. Extremely frustrating

This is embarrassing. Such a game breaking glitch is still somehow not patched. A whole lot of 500 rated players gonna have the 1000 rated rewards now....

NGL this is the MOST EMBARASSING/outright RIDICULOUS competitive, online sports gaming situation I've seen in all of my years. As a guy who's played MLB and just about every sports game every single year, this has me speechless.
Like, it's true my buddy & I were bitten by this last season, we are yet to lose in co op, we were sitting at 780 points and already lost 1 freeze off, and then had 2 teams quit on us after we were up BIG in the first few innings. Should have seen my face when I saw "Phillies lose" - what a way to be rewarded for going like 20-0 so far in CO op
This is an UNTHINKABLE instability for the player base to be facing on what...year 3 of CO op, is it? 4?How is this not fixed yet? Addressed? How can co op even be OPEN to playing at this stage?
Can you blame Internet folks for joining a game and quitting IMMEDIATELY? (Well, yes as two wrongs I suppose don't make a right) --- but, essentially enabling people to win world series rewards within minutes for quitting/dc'ing first at the start of season 2 the other day.
Venting, hoping for the best here folks!

i played 4 games. went into screen to show the teams and the game never starts. goes to postgame and shows i lost. lost 90 rating and never played a game lol. game is a joke.

CO-OP TIP
If you are on the line up screen and notice your opponent has instantly hit the “ready up” button, just back out and try again.

This absolutely ruins the banners and icons. I really hope they can go in and clear them once this is fixed. It should be gated until then.

As a software engineer, this is straight up unprofessional. People would be fired for this anywhere else. They’re not even acknowledging that there’s an issue.
Everyone knows about this now. Either my teammate quits and we get the win, or the opponent does it first. Last night, dude got on the mike and begged with me to quit so we get the win. After 5 in a row, it’s clear that co op is completely broken now. Ironically there are more people on the lobbies now… fishing for the WS and 1000 logos. It seems everyone has one now. I just played someone in events batting around .200. Could not hit a fastball to save his life. But hey, he’s 1000
This is truly hard to believe. Honestly, shocking.

Please fix this!! Have been up by over 5 runs each game and the other team quits and gives me and my teammate the loss.. at least refund us and give us wins!! This makes people want to play other games
