Runners stopping between bases.

Anyone else having the issue on base hits , hit and runs or steals where the runner literally stops ?

are u accidentally hitting a A bumper or trigger? I only have the problem of my players sliding into third when I’ve already sent them home from second on a base hit. It’s so annoying bc I have to hold them at third when I should’ve scored.

Yes, it happens to me frequently. I let the CPU make baserunning decisions for me. It seems to happen when my runner has to hesitate “and decide” whether to run or not.
Example, runner in second. Line drive to short. Runner starts. Stops and Waits to see if SS will catch the ball. Whether caught or not, they “forget to run”.
I sent several tickets to SDS last year on it. It got better, but still occurs.

If you accidentally hit the buttons on top of the controller it will happen. I discovered this earlier this year. If you keep your hands firmly on the handles of the controller while you hit, it won’t happen anymore. Takes some discipline and getting used to but it works.

Funny thing is that I was convinced that it was just a stupid bug that SDS hadn’t been able to fix. And it was user error - lol
