Okay, the new system for equipment has me a bit confused. I play RTTS mostly. Basically, does equipment still have specific stat boosts? I understand the X factor boosts on perks but what about the specific stat boosts for certain stats? I've read others saying there are no stat boosts, just perk multiplier. In the game, when you go to community market and select a piece of equipment and look at the info, it doesn't list the specific stat boosts anymore, just perk. Is there a difference between 2 Diamond batting gloves with 6X perk but one is $20,000 and the other is like $8500? Why would anyone be buying the most expensive gear? Sorry again, just really confused on this. Thanks

No specific attribute boost, just boosts all attributes in one or two of the general attribute types (fielding, baserunning, hitting, and/or pitching). No difference among the rarity types where all silver has same boost as any other silver and the same goes for the golds and the diamond level rarities. All diamond equipment is 6% boost, gold is 4%, silver is 2% with the exception of the ritual items where they are 3% for diamond, 2% for gold, and 1% for silver.

Thanks, makes sense. I wonder why there is such a difference in prices for the same boost. Why would someone buy a diamond $35,000 item over a $5000 diamond item with same 6X boost? Is it just cosmetics?

@jgreene6142_PSN Some cards are pulled more than others, so the prices are mostly just a supply thing. No need to go for the expensive, shiny card, just get the cheapest of the rarity you want of the equipment item you want.
