Noodle bat and zero power. There is always a moment that doesn’t quite add up and takes way longer than it should. Just hate that it almost feels by design to slow down the grind. Moments feel like homework plain and simple to complete programs and upgrade our teams to play actual games. Other than extreme moments they should be quick and painless ways to try out new cards. Not a time sink due to poor programming. Maybe this rant will help to beat this moment. Fingers crossed for myself and all those experiencing something similar while trying to complete moments.

I tucked just inside the foul pole on either the first or second try! I got lucky!

I finally got it on about the 20th attempt after numerous doubles, singles and fly balls to the warning track. Brutal.

Ortiz = noodle bat and 0 power? What? These moments were super easy.

Try completing HR or XBH moments with non-99 Gwynn, Clemente, etc.

Hell even give me a Big Papi moment over any Aaron Judge moment.

The other moments were fine. My gripe is that in that moment I hit numerous perfect perfects with 105 power that went for outs. Given a series of moments I usually can fly thru all but 1 somewhere in the path and it’s like a massive speed bump. It’s not even that I’m pressing just that the end result doesn’t happen for almost a set period of time. It’s truly bizarre.

If you're ever struggling with a HR moment just switch to directional...Hold Up and let it fly. You'll get it done EZ PZ

Oh I’ve gone to that before but this year especially I’ve found the timing is way off and feels like swinging underwater.

I have not had that issue at all. I love HR or 4 TB moments. They are so easy to do

Good for you as you don’t seem to lack any confidence that’s for sure. Just because stuff doesn’t apply to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen to others. Guessing you are a well above average player in his early 20s based on your responses and user name. Compared to years past I feel like timing is a touch delayed and coupled with increased precision required for the PCI and decreased exit velocities hitting is objectively more challenging and less forgiving this year. I can still get stuff done but I’m average at best and grinding has been more time consuming based on my experience thus far.

@TripleH-4481_PSN Not even close. But it's cool of you to try and make personal judgements about someone. There is literally no issue with Exit Velo in this game. In fact 25 feels like it has way more HR's than in past games. And HR moments are easy because you don't waste time with Zone hitting on them. Switch to directional and hold up until you get it done. Usually less than 10 tries and if it takes you 20 who cares because they go so fast and failing doesn't matter, hence why I like them.

As opposed to like a 3 hits mission where you actually have to have some modicum of skill to get the 3 hits without getting out...aka failure has consequences.
