How do I restart MTO with the same team?

Is there a way to restart or reset MTO, or do you have to finish the season? If you finish it out can you replay for additional affinity points? Or is it just the first season you play you get points?

Just start a new MTO file pick which ever team you want and presto! Once you finish the first season of MTO is jumps you into a franchise, and you can no longer get Affinity points from it.
