Newly Created stadiums

The current situation is a sad mix of reactions and experiences. They pretty much go under these categories:

Frustrated at the multi-year lack of proper support to upgrade and give TLC to Stadium Creator by SDS, and having reached their limit of creative stymie and artificial constraints of various causes, are simply not going to design any more custom stadiums until SC is either upgraded or removed from the game. (I'm in this category)

Spent the time to create a new stadium in MLB 25 only to have the dreaded bug reappear that spontaneously re-indexes their custom stadium to the original default stadium that originally occupied the save slot in their console program. The prior way to fix this bug was to immediately upload the custom stadium to the vault, wait for it to finally appear in the vault listings (normally would take a day), and then download the stadium from the vault and save it back to the same slot it came from. This forced the game code in SC to untwist itself and properly index the custom stadium vice the one it replaced in that slot. However, the vault isn't working and so that fix option isn't available.

People who create a new custom stadium only to find they cannot upload it to the vault.

People who have a custom stadium supposedly in the vault, and would like to download it to either play it or conduct further work on it, and cannot download it.

People who are trying to create a new stadium but keep running into crash to desktop issues or encounter so many foolish and unnecessary issues that their frustration level rises to an unhealthy level.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL I’ve been 3 thru 5 since the early drop. Wish SDS would give some kind of acknowledgment at this point

Use Laughing Mountain. Its not Costco by any means but you can still put up good numbers there.

I’ve made a couple stadiums this year that’s it…normally I’m 10-15 deep by this time every year. Not only the lack of anything new, but the lack of communication regarding the CONSTANT requests for simple things being completely ignored

Same with Laughing Mountain. I been grinding the TA doubles and HRs like a mad man. I've passed on so many triples just stopping at second to get these missions done lol

Try this: Save or download a stadium. Create a new stadium; when you go to save it, overwrite that "older" stadium. So far, it's worked for me.

Wait!
Doesn't that actually replace the prior custom stadium with the new custom stadium if everything works as it should? I don't see how that fixes the problem of putting hours into a new stadium and suddenly having the console copy indexed to the original stadium it replaced.

I had some success today. Starting an NCAA franchise. Found Steinbrenner field in the new uploads. Downloaded it to use as Florida Gators home. Tweaked it to remove Yankees word marks. Overwrote the original save. Started a franchise to test and it worked fine. The field appeared as I had edited it. Don’t know how or why it worked. I’m late to the party, just got the 5 because of the Show being unavailable on the 4 so SC is all new to me.

You guys literally went right past the thread I made to streamline everything only to make another thread to bury the main one I made. And we wonder why communication is always spotty and our voices never get heard.
