Hitting is broke

The gameplay isnt bad but a couple of things that really bother me are. the fact that the HR to other XBH ratio is almost 3:1 rn which puts it in the same catagory as 2018 where it was basically HR or bust.
The other thing that bother me is the timing windows. sometimes im early on 98 and then im late on 95 with the same timing.

Why are so many perfect perfects outs.
That means I don’t suck if I have that timing and what does it say about the game if they are outs -
Hitting is still broken. Just hit a perfect perfect with Minnie minoso that was a fly out to left

Hitting is brokennnnn

I’ve been hitting just fine

All star is ok but still inconsistent, HOF is bore fest as it is strikeout fest with the lucky homer deciding the game. On a side note my team era is fantastic.

If they dial back exit velocity, we will be left with a complete mess though.
People are hitting HRs at record numbers in real life. That’s just the way it is. Small ball isn’t even a major thing in baseball anymore. And if they finally do away with DH in the NL, it will be even more leaned towards swinging away.

The average XBH (2b and 3b) to HR ratio is 1.5:1 so I fail to see how small ball isnt a thing any more.
If they increased exit velocities ( to what they were at launch) while making it hard to attain those exit velocities it would be fine. BUT they are in love with his idea of everyone need to be able to feel good about themselves even when they are clearly outmatched by a stronger opponent.
Basically what I would have done is left the way hitting was day 1 and made it harder to hit by making the PCI small and giving pitchers more control.
