Folks who played MLB 23 and earlier remember that the way the various attributed boosting STANCE socks worked is that they merely provided a means for the team's default sock to outfit your RTTS player and DD player uniforms.

However, with MLB 24, that logic was changed so that the STANCE socks would appear on your uniform exactly as it looked when you dragged it out of your equipment pack or purchased it on the market. Unfortunately, despite many complaints over that change, the SDS team has retained the same logic for MLB 25.

So, you have to choose between boosting your avatar player's RTTS skill level by using the STANCE sock, or unequip any and all of the STANCE socks so your player's sock worn on the field matches the team's colors.
