Question regarding pitcher/batter cameras and scorebugs

You used to be able to see what each camera angle looked like from the menus in older games, and the fact that said function was taken away from us is actually annoying and a negative in terms of quality of life. As for the Scorebugs, why can't you preview them or even change them in game? You gave me an option to select my scorebug when I first booted up the game and I simply have no idea what I'm picking there? It doesn't make sense!
