I don't think Sony or SDS has any say in the matter since the games publisher on Xbox is actually MLB. So either MLB didn't want it on game pass again or maybe MS did not want to subsidize the game by offering it on game pass.

Every year the forums are flooded with new profiles and first time posters that go on about a $70 roster update. im convinced yall dont actually play the games if you think its just a roster update.

Or, you could do what I did. I used $50 worth of my XBox rewards, and I bought $100 worth of gift cards at Costco for $89.99. I used $50 in gift cards and $50 from my XBox reward points. So, I paid around $45 in real money for the DD version.
