Division Series Program "weirdness", and other things bothering me...
-
Two "programs" are just Missions (Padres/Dodgers and Tigers/Guardians). The other two have Moments and Missions.
Ummmm... why? I apologize if I missed it in another thread.
Other things that are bothering me right now:
-
In the "Finest" group of cards from TA 3.2, the Joe Morgan and Ferguson Jenkins cards have an orange background. Everyone else has green. Why? Because they're pre-1980? I can't figure it out.
-
In the "Collections" menu, we now have 2 "Special Collections". One for just "Finest", and another for Season Awards, OOP, Action Figures, etc. Why not just put "Finest" under here?
Probably just my OCD kicking in.

I wouldn't want to mistake the cutlery and anonymous kitchen items drawers in your house.

Everything is exactly where it's supposed to be.

2: it's a 'new' Collection. Pretty sure when S3 TA1 dropped; the OOP Collection was separate from the others.

I like the moments only programs.

That makes sense - thank you.

Actually, I don't mind them either. Just seemed weird that they're different.

I noticed the Fergie/morgan thing and was confused
I have some mild annoyances with where I don't feel they look at the big picture:
For example, get 17ks with Phillies pitchers.
Well lets see:
You didnt give an actual Phillies pitcher a card for post season
Or either TA round
Or Hoffman's missing all star card (Strahm has a SA at least, but also should still have had an All Star)
Or anything decent for Nola (but they gave him an OOP?)So sure, I can use some old [censored] cards to finish it because almost nothing has set restrictions anymore, but Ive already used those enough.
minor issue, sure, but its offputting to me all the same. Yankees CP K one makes more sense because weve recently gotten several Yankee relievers

The Yankees/Royals is 8 moments worth 3 points each, and 3 missions each worth 2 points. The Mets/Phillies is 5 moments worth 3, and 3 missions worth 5. Also, one of them has 500 xp at (i think) 24 points while the other is 500 stubs at 24 points. Random as hell

I literally can’t describe how far I want to throw my controller doing these moments

This is nothing, wait until extreme comes out. Controllers will break and tears will flow.
Personally the rewards are going have to be pretty great for me to have any interest this year. I might do the conquest.
-
@samguenther1987_PSN I don’t see who they could give us that would make it worth it. I will still torture myself, but I can’t imagine it will be worth it.
-
I didn't think any of these moments were really that bad, a few were too long but nothing as bad as those 8 TB moments from a few weeks back
The gets 3 hits with mediocre padres cards from wild card round was far worse than anything here.

Me too. The Moments Only postseason programs are the only ones I actually have completed so far.
-
The issue should be obvious:
For most of the year there was flexibility in program completion
You could pick and choose how you wanted to complete itLately, while the program quantity has gotten better, there has been a trend towards inflexible ways of completing them and it is baffling. I just dont understand why they decided to do this.
-
Did all the moments for the two division series programs that have missions but haven't touched the 2 division series programs that have only moments
-
It's true that the recent programs are inflexible but they all are that way, not just the moments only ones.
Unless I missed a repeatable mission then those that have moments and missions you have to do all of each option.
For the Dodgers vs Padres I was able to do 10 moments and be done with the program
For the Mets vs Phillies I had to do 8 moments (just 2 less) and I still need750k Pxp with players of either team
17 RBIs with Mets
17 Ks with PhilliesAnd while that it probably just one good game on Rookie at Costco I would rather have done 2 extra moments.
At this stage it is smarter to wait until teams have been eliminated. Right now PXP with Mets gets me progress in 2 different programs. After the NLCS series we may be asked to get PXP with Mets for a 3rd time.

I'm just the opposite. I have done all the Moments in all of the postseason programs but have not completed a single mission in any of them yet.
-
The missions are easy, build a team of only Mets and only Royals and then pitch a Phillies starter then use yankees relievers to get the Ks

I'll get to them. As I said I think it is smarter to wait until teams have been eliminated. Why get PXP with Mets now if I am just going to need to do it again after the NLCS?
And as a rebuttal, I thought the moments were pretty easy too.
