So since the game came out I've mostly done Conquest games to get missions done. I'm not a great player so I mostly play on Rookie, although sometimes attack at Veteran in Conquest when required. I've noticed I'm hitting a lot less HRs this year compared to other years. So here's what I've noticed (rough estimates)...in Conquest games with a handful of 100+ power guys I'll hit HRs maybe once every 3 games. LOTS of warning track hits. I also play March to October sometimes (on Rookie) and hit HRs maybe every other game (with default [censored] rosters). I just started playing Mini Seasons (again with a handful of 100 power guys) on Rookie and I'm hitting 2 - 3 HRs a game! Shouldn't Rookie difficulty be the same across all modes? Mini Seasons against high 90s teams seems way easier than the Conquest games against default rosters.

Just randomness. In general miniseasons are worse for hitting, however Lichtenstein should be renamed [censored] missile field, stuff flies out of there more so than any other park. Singer's stadium is HR friendly as well.

The best way to hit HRs if you havent mastered zone is use directional, up and pull. You should be getting a lot more than a HR every 3 games doing that.

It does seem harder for doubles, since nearly every OF is a 95+ player. But HRs are definitely easier, I've played 8 games now in Mini Seasons and I'm hitting moonshots. I've even got a half dozen oppos which NEVER happens in Conquest games. It's such a drastic difference it's just puzzling why they nerf hitting in Conquest games. The most HRs I've ever had in a Conquest game was 3 (Coors field with wind at my back) in 100s of games. 8 games into Mini Series I have a couple of 4 HR games, none less than 2. I wish I had known this 2 seasons ago LOL. And using directional is just cheating, I do it occasionally for HR moments but it's not really fun.

I play on veteran and just cranked out 12 in two conquest games, granted they were at Colorado.

I do occasionally have a dry spell where I seem to not be getting lucky but it is never a prolonged issue.

I always do mini seasons for the home runs. It seems easier than conquest in those short stadiums

Conquest is weird. One game I scored 25 (wasn't even taking the best swings) then the next game I scored like 3.

@Precisionist99_XBL I notice that on some conquest games playing Rookie is harder than others. I've even lost a few. Maybe I've been half asleep. 🙂 But yeah, it does vary.

Since I started playing this game in September of 22 I have always played on rookie but towards the end of last year and now all of this year I play exclusively on veteran or even all star now and actually find it easier than rookie

Yeah for me hitting success on Rookie/Vet is easily ranked:

    1. Play vs CPU (White Sox home at custom stadiums or Rockies road at Coors)

    2. Conquest (just be sure to use your 4th or 5th starter to get better matchups)

    3. Mini Seasons (skip to your home games, road against Lichtenstein, Seoul, and I like to play at Lima. Not a good hitters park but I want to unlock that [censored] FIESTA!)

I was also going to say it also seems a bit easier on Veteran than Rookie on Conquest games. I play on a 75" TV (with "Game Mode" set) and for some reason visually the slow pitches just dont match the visuals in Rookie, I am constantly pulling the ball. On my screen I swear I'm swinging into the ball, but then it's either pulled or miss (very early). I think maybe since Mini Seasons are using 95+ pitchers most of the time the pitch speed is more in line with the visual speed on my screen?
