No reason to have held back even this long, the Cardinals lineup of legends/flashbacks has been abysmal. 2022 had their best combo ever. Gibson the only legit 99 so far, no reason Ryan f'in Ludwick and a juiced up Jordan Walker should headline this franchise. And for some dumb reason they release an 84 GOLD Eckersley in LATE SEPTEMBER. Time for 99 McGwire, 99 Edmonds, 99 Musial at least, geez

What an awful year for this game

It's not that different than other years. They always hold back some of the best cards. Finest Cards did not come out until Nov last year.

I am sure there are teams worse off then The Cardinals in the game when it comes to legend cards but I do find it really strange that they issued an 89 Stan Musial on Day 1 (US Conquest) and have not touched him since. I assume he will be a boss or maybe yet another Collection reward (Like Brock and Gibson).

But yes, there have been omissions.

McGwire has 3 A's cards and none for the Cardinals
Edmonds has a 99 Angels Card and none for the Cardinals.
Holliday has 2 Rockies cards (99 and 91) and one Cardinal card (84)
Arenado has 2 Rockies Cards (98 and 97) and two Cardinals (88 and 78)

I have to assume they are all coming eventually but will I still be playing? A month of postseason cards I don't care about and then a slew of other games I want to play come out between late Oct and Early Dec (Dragon Age Veilguard, AC Shadows, MS Flight Sim 2024, and Indiana Jones)

@Dolenz_PSN They release their best cards in Nov. and Dec. when no one is playing like it will bring in the masses lol. Like the Cardinals front office, their business model is stale and in need of a total overhaul. I'm literally still playing Borderlands 2 over this today.

99s are overrated and in general its fine that they are released late, but its kind of inexcusable to not have a single decent musial all year.

How many of those day 1 card from either collections, that conquest map, or TA have yet to get a mid 90s card?
I know he just got an early 99 but man I would love to have a 95 Clemente for doing that program...
