Lots of overreaction here. How many cards are you still using from chapter 1 of any season? How many 95’s are you still using? These cards will be irrelevant quickly. I like that they’re doing something different with the first chapter that will soon be meaningless anyways.

This would be valid argument but so far each TA theme has translated into other cards being in packs and rewards so let's not kid ourselves here. SDS 100% has 99 OOP Alejandro Kirk CF as the BR reward

The thing with Madden is, it's actually useful to have a 6'7" tall Strong Safety, or a big O-lineman at running back. There is no utility or advantage to having a 6'10" Left Fielder. So, I'm not really sure how they'll make this fun, and make these cards people want to use, beyond the novelty of "That guy isn't really a pitcher".

@CDNMoneyMaker93_XBL These cards will be required (Not required, but necessary) for Season 3 Chapter 2. They're letting us use Season 1 and 2 cards for Chapter 1, but not Chapter 2. At least that was how I interpreted the blog post.
