Does anybody have any tips for my controller problem?

I have a turtle beach recon . It was working fine until something happened and it stopped responding. So I disconnected the cord a reconnect it and it started working normal except now the cord wiggles slightly and it gets disconnected. Now I have to move it to find the spot were it reconnects . It sux because it disconnects when I hit a button to hit the ball .
Anybody have this problem have any solution to make it not move ?
