@KommanderNKeef9 lol foolish of you to assume that the people who pretend to enjoy the game would actually be playing the game. Tylerslikewhoa hit level 20 bronze one year but still played the forum every day. It’s a strange breed on here

@DeleteyourTTVBTW Oh I enjoy the game. I don't like bugs, freeze offs, disconnects, seasons, or toxic players but half of that happens in many games. The Show just doesn't have the ability to polish their game and print actual new cards. They can't fix most bugs or network issues and they just reprint most cards with slightly better stats in order to give the appearance that you're actually doing something to get them.
I play maybe two or three games every other night as that's the most time I can offer to the game. They didn't make the game for players like myself. They build the game around people with substantial time or money to offer ie sets and seasons.
I've said a million times over I'm fine with sets and seasons if you didn't have to buy a new game every year. Deck building games with sets and seasons just print the cards. There's nonthing else to buy or download. Take hearthstone for example: yeah there's a grind but it's only for XP and quests that change daily. But it never forces you into one game mode or offline PvE. You can literally play casual, historic, or any mode you want and still get the same XP results and card collection ie packs. There are some added rewards for other game modes but that's on top of what is already coming your way.
SDS doesn't want you to play casual. That's why it doesn't give you XP or PxP.

@Easy_Duhz_It_ are you saying you need all 99s to be good at the game?
Where did you read that, Shauwn? Im perfectly fine with starting over in season 2 with 89s because, and this may be a hard concept for you to follow but, ITS SOMETHING TO DO. When i buy a sports game, i dont wanna max out all progress in the first 2 months then use the same [censored] over and over til next February.
You expect just one season? Every reward just another standard pack so you can pull free agents and bronze a million and 1 times to buy who's left on the market? Or you prefer they just release a ton more 99s to dilute the market because no one is gonna use 89s and 91s any more unless they have to.
-
@Easy_Duhz_It_ why are you so stuck on 99s? I'm not even talking about overall levels as much as I am talking about keeping cards you already have. The overall is arbitrary. If I have an 83 but gets a boost with an 88 captain and I like them either for their swing, speed, steals, bunt, etc I don't care about their overall because I'm using them for a specific reason.
I'm not even talking about overall stats and you're stuck in that for some reason. They will absolutely be dropping 99s all over the place and I won't care. There's no progress in deck building if your decks are reset every 3 months. You're completely ignoring the team and eck building aspect and stuck in overall ratings for some reason when that's not even my point. -

Again, Ranked is the only place that fully requires season 2 cards (you can still use 4 wildcards). They dont leave your inventory. They wont disappear until season 4. You can still play your casual games for pxp and the joys of "deck building", you can play offline things like mini seasons and conquests with the team of your choice. And you can still play co op with season 1 cards. If you choose not to do any of those things or, and this seems more likely, dont have friends to do them with, thats kinda your problem and your fault. The options are there....you're just choosing to ignore them.

@Easy_Duhz_It_ you cant gain PxP from casual and XP gain is neutered. You don't get rewards playing casual.
Gain you gain wildcard slots playing casual? I think I already know the answer.
Co-op doesn't give you captains and the host is the only one who gains PxP. Are they gonna fix the glitches in coop? I play mostly co-op already actualy, view my game history. You also are stifled by being forced to play with over half of your team is 84s that you cannot pick yourself. Can you gain wildcard slots playing coop? I think I know the answer.
Everything you just said tells me you didn't read my posts. Please go read them fully before trying to come at me.

@AdeptOfMemory im assuming he did because their taking while to respond

@Easy_Duhz_It_
With Innings, there was always something "to do".... There was actually more to do as the game refreshed every 3-5 weeks. The power creep naturally went well with their former content model. However, unlike Seasons, those cards you earned in Innings, never expired and folks could play at their own pace. The way it is now, by the time many of us acquire some of the top cards in a Season, we will not be able to use them in RS until late in the game cycle.
I remember using many of the previous Innings rewards throughout the year. Sure, some of those positional cards in the earlier Innings became dated with better options later, but you could still used them until we were able to replace them. This current Seasons format is terrible.

@sbchamps17 His problem is he can't Run a "Meta" team and he's not good enough to play with anything else.
-
@GixxerRyder750 Meta? I don't care to play meta. I like building my own decks not what everyone else is doing. More unique cards and combos makes for better game not 1-2 meta decks wins all.
I would rather be able to play competitively with my entire library of cards rather than the very few that rotate out each other month.
I don't care for what's meta but what is fun for me to create. -
The RNG online kills this game for me. On top of that the throw meters are too slow this year when fielding. Can get u into trouble. But I’ve seen countless RNG moments online nobody is going to convince me otherwise.
