Can The Show Be Saved

I saw this too.
I don't disagree with him but I will NEVER give SDS an excuse to not fix the bugs and gameplay. Just saying "it's the game engine, it is what is" is horribly incorrect and clearly spoken from someone who doesn't know anything about game design and their platforms.
I think if they did away with season and the XP caps yeah they would be fine and could keep ignoring the horrible unpolished gameplay even though imo that's far more important to fix than the XP and seasons junk. -
He hit the nail on the head quite a few times. Wonder if SDS will care or take his launch box away
-
He's been pretty critical of the content this season fairly consistently.

It can be saved if they fire this entire live content team and start over next year. Also stop making the game for last gen consoles or make a separate version for them. I'm done buying this garbage until those things happen
-
@Pergo wild statement.

This year's iteration? No, I think the damage has been done. For SDS to pull a stunt like this with such a highly anticipated game coming out mid-cycle in NCAA 25 was embarrassingly short-sighted. I think they should learn from this more-or-less disaster and right some wrongs next year. One of which being releasing on current gen only, another being reverting back to what worked and not what they want to force to work
-
I think a lot of it depends on what the definition of "saving" is. They might be able to "save" some, but I think there are some they are not getting back this year. I feel like a lot of damage has been done. Foul balls is the number one issue on my end, closely followed by the XP path, and then there are many other issues that follow. I just haven't even thought about playing and am just saving stubs in case I give it a chance in Season 2. My 19 year old son has tried to stay motivated, but even he is choosing to play Fortnite with his little brother instead of the show. A lot of people around here will think I am being dramatic, but SDS refusing to made adjustments to this point makes it much harder to get people back if they ever do correct the path. I never play Madden and I am not someone who is constantly saying "NCAA is coming", but I am definitely more excited about giving NCAA a try than I am season 2 or even MLBTS '25. This game has just felt like a lost cause for a few months now.

Shelfy stated he was on a call with them, and a few other creaters and basically they were clueless to the issues the community have. More or less they will not change their model.

@LIONED-33 It's really amazing how head-buried in the sand EA (and now allegedly SDS) devs are when it comes to their communities. Like seriously what is the point of paying money for hosting a forums board if you're going to utilize 0 of the feedback.
It's clear the objective of 24 is making money off stubs sales. If they like the amount sold then there is nothing to save in their eyes and that sucks

Where did you see this? I would be curious to read/watch his comments.

I second this
