I tried that but the AI is far way too aggressive at attacking my roster over 60% of my roster is gone after one season after the second season I'm down to what 15 to 20 players and that leaves my farm teams with crappy players.
But I decided to build a baseball team and I wanted to build it by creating players but I'm only allowed to make 16 players from scratch I don't know if it's a next gen thing or not but I only have the original Xbox one not next gen

Maybe you should just play Call of Duty...

Dude makes every pitcher Walter Johnson and every hitter Barry Bonds and then wonders why other teams claim some of them in the rule 5 draft. I want to know if he was always this gifted or if it is deterioration.

Wow really smdh just because I wanted at first to make my mariners good and not like it is in real life where they never ever see a world series ever basically I'm being clowned on for wanting my team to be the best but I got a overly aggressive AI that takes over 60% of my team between rule 5 and the waivers after the first season which the AI on my team keeps giving away the players to other teams and replace them with crappy players then the second season the AI gives away my players to other teams and leaves me with 15 to maybe 20 at most of created/edited players and replace the ones I lose with crappy players wow

That is exactly why those rules exist. Without them teams could horde their talent throughout their minor league systems.
From wikipedia:
"The Rule 5 draft aims to prevent teams from stockpiling too many young players on their minor league affiliate teams when other organizations would be willing to have them play in the major leagues."
Same thing for players eligible to be claimed off waivers. If there isn't a spot on the Mariners active roster for a player he can, especially a 99 player, play on another major league club rather then the the Tacoma Rainiers.
You basically came here and asked if there was a way to reinstitute the reserve clause.

Um what's the reserve clause? I mean I know a lot of about baseball but never heard of the reserve clause? I just know that my mariners in real life suck and never see a world series ever in my lifetime but I just want my mariners to be really good that's all but I don't get why the AI is so aggressive after the first year of the season then come at my team even more on the second season FYI all the players are signed up to 5 yrs no less than 4 years

The rule five draft has nothing to do with contract length. You can only keep 25 players on your major league roster. 25 99's should be more the sufficient to win a world series. If you entire organization is 99's you are basically giving away talent to other teams whenever a roster move has to be made.
The reserve clause was the status quo prior to free agency existing. It basically meant the owners had all rights over players once a contract was signed.

When was rule 5 ever came into the league? That is a bit interesting to say the least but the thing is I just don't like the way the AI gives you crappy players in return the lowest guy I have is at 52 overall the highest I have is a 70 overall and he is a pitcher
