Ok when I asked what is the create players limit all I got was a Link to redit and it stated 40 players was the limit and that came out as a lie cause I was only able to create 16 players how the heck you get 16 players out of supposedly 40 created players that doesn't make any sense to me to say a lie I maybe just wrong but to me that sounds like a lie to me I have a regular Xbox one not a X or S can't even afford one anyways why can't anyone come out with straight answers at all ya ya I get it being online is way more important than a player like myself who doesn't play online at all but it be nice to get some straight answers instead of lies and runarounds.
Again. Try the Franchise board. Doubtful anyone that plays Franchise mode looks anywhere but that board.
Um it's about created players wow don't people read and this is a general discussion which makes this a general question
-
No he's telling you to look at franchise section of this community forum to see if anyone there is able to help you because that's where all the franchise people post about their problems and what not

Again it's not a franchise question I may play franchise in offline mode but it clearly states that it's about created players reread it it says created players

And where are you using the created players? IN FRANCHISE MODE.
Thus you want to ask people thst play Franchise.
-
Not always and again it says created players does everything I say on these forums especially here in general discussion has to go to the franchise um no cause I didn't specifically say franchise in this thread now did I I only specifically said created players what part of that any of you online only players didn't comprehend I'm sorry for going there but no one is reading or comprehending what I am asking or saying but you think this has to go to franchise when it's not a franchise question it's in the general discussion sounds like I may have to report this site cause no one is giving me straight answers or any help what so ever and Google isn't any better at it either
-
Why not just go into franchise and edit the players in there?
-
I’d like to know why I can’t change Gunner Henderson bat and cleats and make him bat right handed
-
@sbchamps17 said in I DON'T LIKE BEING LIED TO:

Because when you edit any player you can't really edit everything especially the helmet and other things as well like your only allowed to edit certain head gear which is crazy cause when you create players from scratch you get the full customization but I am trying to build my old high school baseball team back when I was in highschool in highschool your allowed to have at least 25 players 5 in reserves but I can only make 16 players from scratch but someone on here posted a link that said you can have up to 40 created players but I don't know if it's next gen consoles only that gets that high cause I have the original Xbox one not next gen
-
Wait I thought you were trying to make your mariners not suck? So you can win World Series because irl they never win because all big money teams poach their stars?

I tried that but the AI is far way too aggressive at attacking my roster over 60% of my roster is gone after one season after the second season I'm down to what 15 to 20 players and that leaves my farm teams with crappy players.
But I decided to build a baseball team and I wanted to build it by creating players but I'm only allowed to make 16 players from scratch I don't know if it's a next gen thing or not but I only have the original Xbox one not next gen

Maybe you should just play Call of Duty...

Dude makes every pitcher Walter Johnson and every hitter Barry Bonds and then wonders why other teams claim some of them in the rule 5 draft. I want to know if he was always this gifted or if it is deterioration.

Wow really smdh just because I wanted at first to make my mariners good and not like it is in real life where they never ever see a world series ever basically I'm being clowned on for wanting my team to be the best but I got a overly aggressive AI that takes over 60% of my team between rule 5 and the waivers after the first season which the AI on my team keeps giving away the players to other teams and replace them with crappy players then the second season the AI gives away my players to other teams and leaves me with 15 to maybe 20 at most of created/edited players and replace the ones I lose with crappy players wow

That is exactly why those rules exist. Without them teams could horde their talent throughout their minor league systems.
From wikipedia:
"The Rule 5 draft aims to prevent teams from stockpiling too many young players on their minor league affiliate teams when other organizations would be willing to have them play in the major leagues."
Same thing for players eligible to be claimed off waivers. If there isn't a spot on the Mariners active roster for a player he can, especially a 99 player, play on another major league club rather then the the Tacoma Rainiers.
You basically came here and asked if there was a way to reinstitute the reserve clause.

Um what's the reserve clause? I mean I know a lot of about baseball but never heard of the reserve clause? I just know that my mariners in real life suck and never see a world series ever in my lifetime but I just want my mariners to be really good that's all but I don't get why the AI is so aggressive after the first year of the season then come at my team even more on the second season FYI all the players are signed up to 5 yrs no less than 4 years

The rule five draft has nothing to do with contract length. You can only keep 25 players on your major league roster. 25 99's should be more the sufficient to win a world series. If you entire organization is 99's you are basically giving away talent to other teams whenever a roster move has to be made.
The reserve clause was the status quo prior to free agency existing. It basically meant the owners had all rights over players once a contract was signed.

When was rule 5 ever came into the league? That is a bit interesting to say the least but the thing is I just don't like the way the AI gives you crappy players in return the lowest guy I have is at 52 overall the highest I have is a 70 overall and he is a pitcher

I don't know when cause I really never heard of rule 5 or when it first came into the league I'm just being honest with you not mention I know a lot about baseball but not all the way
