Did some math. XP Reward Path
-
If @GixxerRyder750 is corrct; when this Season ends we would've had 84 days to play it.
Now if you were able to play EVERY day, and hit the cap each day, you will have earned 1,260,000 in earnable gameplay XP.
That is enough XP to get all 3 99s in the XP Reward Path.
That doesn't include any XP that is earned from Programs.
So, it is possible (if you were able to play EVERY day) to earn all 3 99s. Albeit you wouldn't have had much time to use them.
Now say you can't play everyday. Maybe you can only play in the weekends. That means you will lose out on 75K in XP a week (5 days x the 15K CAP).
That means you're also dependant on and XP that can be earned via Programs.
Seems like this setup means that unless you're able to play at least 2 hours EVERYDAY; you may only get one of the 99s, if any.
What this all means that is unless SDS either gets rid of the XP CAP or makes the 99s available earlier (say 500K, 750K, 1M); they are going to, IMO, lose alot of people next season.

I havent hit the xp cap at all and I'm currently at 957,612 xp. Pretty confident that i'll have all 3 bosses before season 2.
-
I have just under 685k and the dashboard says I’ve played a few minutes over 197 hours. That’s just about 3,474 XP per hour.
I don’t think I’ll get any bosses. Doing some quick math, I need to play around 5 hours or get about 17k XP every day that’s left to get one boss. I just don’t see that happening.
-
The problem is they didn't have enough exp in programs and conquest. Otherwise it would have been fine.
-
Exactly this. There should have been more in conquests or programs to help out. They've picked it up with the last content drop but it was slim pickings early.

This and they cut the XP earned from previous years in half.

I'm close to a second XP boss and should be able to get all 3 eventually, not that it will matter because these cards don't carry over lol

@X-FREEZE-OFF-X Your math is right, but you gotta count the amout of xp you gain through programs, conquest and especially Mini seasons. The Legend Mini seasons (the one with Feller) gave 60K alone (without gameplay xp). Ending with TA2 they put up those earnable XP on way a higher basis.
I just spun my first wheel, so I am well ahead of your math. I did not play on one of the double-xp-weekends and the other one was just a tiny bit of gameplay. I do not play every day … but I finish every program and conquest. I did 2 mini seasons.
So, it is not only the xp cap math … that is just a fraction -
@X-FREEZE-OFF-X I see you didn't mention how SDS pushes for their users to pay USD for their digital currency that helps you expedite the process.
If they made it a fair process to gain XP and stubs with your time played, then they couldn't market and make money off of their stubs/packs.That's a simple free market strategy that everyone can understand.
SDS wants to milk it's player base. Because they also know that even the ones who can play every single 84 days to gain the XP will likely spend more money.

Going back to my post about only being able to play on the weekends. There have been 9 weekends since the release of the game. That's only 270K in gameplay XP possibly earned.
Which means that person would need an additional 800K in XP (not counting the time left (in the Season) of Program XP to get the first 99.
We all know that there has been nowhere close to that amount of additional XP released.
I have a total of 530 hours played and I'm at 875,666 in XP (still haven't played any MS) and and done with all the programs. That's about 1,700 XP earned an hour. (That's on me. As when I do play; I also do other stuff. So while I may play for a few hours a day; it's not all spent playing the game. I may jump on here, eat something, etc).
What I'm getting at is unless SDS gets rid of the cap, so people that can't commit 1-2 hours a day playing, or puts the bosses at increments earlier in the program, casual players are going to be left out.
Then you'll just have the 'sweats' and 'streamers' left.

I'll comment on this in a new thread I'm working on at the moment.
