Terrible Scorekeeping
-
Scorekeeping is absolutely pathetic sometimes, and defense, though mostly good, isn’t perfect. I’ve had times when the ball has been hit softly and right to one of my players, but both times, the player didn’t even field the ball. One time, Gavin Lux even tried to barehand the ball even though the hitter was still at least about 4-5 steps from first. That was somehow ruled a hit. I can take occasional errors since I do have a great team fielding percentage on the season, but the Lux error did seem pretty ridiculous. There are also just too many times in this game when either a play is ruled a hit despite being routine or an error despite being hard. Had another play in which I decided not to throw to first because the runner very likely would’ve beat the throw easily, yet that was somehow ruled an error. Has anyone else noticed this type of stuff plaguing the game?

The funnest is when a triple counts as a double only because the second cutoff man caught it and not the primary.

I had another one today. Did a hit and run that resulted in a lineout to shortstop and the runner getting doubled off. And somehow it was scored as caught stealing. Not sure how you get that out of that.
