Player Exchanges for TA changed.

Now they're as follows: NL East Ex.
NL East Live Series 1: 5,000 for 5,000
NL East Live Series 2: 10,000 for 10,000
NL East Hitters: 10,000 for 10,000
NL East Pitchers: 10,000 for 10,000
NL East Playes: 300,000 for 30,000So they want you to exchange twice as many players, for the last exchange, as before; but for rhe same amount of points?
You guys really find new ways to give this community the finger.

Gotta say, this year feels like such an amateur set up. Making it up as we go...week to week
-
Single player missions nuked as well. Looks as bad as last year now. Their point of emphasis in the content stream lasted ~8 weeks.
-
BR at first glance is more difficult for us non 10-0 guys. Ouch.

@X-FREEZE-OFF-X
So glad I quit. Other games are so much fun.

Did a team build with the mariners because I thought it would count, but found out after the game that there is no more repeatable team missions.
Sucks for players like me because I change team builds every game because I don’t like playing with the same cards.
They obviously want to make it harder to get to the 99s
-
@cjhanz84 so they have to be S1, not core players anymore?

No wonder they were so willing to give out a new Team boss for free. Because they removed one of the best use cases for an actual theme team.
At this rate I may not even make it to the end of season one like I thought I would.
Although I kind of want to stick around because I just have a feeling that they will implement Wild Cards in a way that will outrage most of the fan base.

No. You can use whoever you want, but in TA 1 and 2 they gave you repeatable 5k xp for each team used in the division.
They got rid of that and combined each team into one division, so you’re only getting the repeatable xp once, not five times like before.
They also nerfed the number of xp you get and it takes more player xp to even get the repeatable tasks done. Basically TA 3 nerfed everything
-
@Jackmo709 It doesn’t seem made up to me at all. They seem to be trying to maximize profits at every turn with every single decision they make. They aren’t listening to the community at all.

In Team Affinity 2 you got 4,000 TA points for 1000 PXP with a single team's players.
In Team Affinity 3 you get 7,500 TA points for 2,500 PXP with any division player
So you have to earn 2.5 times more PXP to earn only 1.75 times more TA Points. That is a nerf. The only potential positive twist you could put on it is that you should be able to put together a better lineup since you have the whole division to work with. But I don't think a more capable lineup merits that much of a nerf.
Also, in TA1 you got 10,000 TA points for 30 hits vs the CPU
In TA2 you got 10,000 TA points for 40 Total Bases
In TA 3 you get 2,500 for 30 hits in Vs CPUSo only 25% of the reward you got in TA1.
They obviously want to slow down the progression. Add in the fact that stat missions won't roll over mid game and you are slowed down even more.
-
@Dolenz excellent write up and comparison. It is so sad to see. They should’ve done the opposite and made it even easier since we’ll get less time to even use these 99s and now many probably won’t even be able to unlock them in time over the next month.

Wild cards already pissed me off in last years game. Let’s say you were in team affinity season 2, the wild cards wouldn’t count towards earned pxp, only cards from that season counted toward team affininity

@GoozeFn
I think they know once NCAA rolls out. It’s over for this last gen game. I enjoy it but they really made people hate it and I see why.
