Challenge Failed
-
My game has done this a few times and idk why, but I’ve been playing on my WiFi and it’s been working for about a month, but today I tried to play a DD game and it just says challenge failed. I have T-Mobile 5G home internet and I’ve had this problem since last summer and I still have yet to get an answer. It just works on and off.

The 2 worst things to do as a gamer is play using wifi and having T-Mobile as your provider. You really are doubling down on this one

@Tylerslikewhoa Yeah that’s the thing, T Mobile is all I have available to me because I live in the woods. It did work fine for about a year and then one day stopped. Now it just works sometimes and other days not. I messaged San Diego studios directly and they barely gave me an answer.
-
@Tylerslikewhoa Also, what do you play with besides WiFi?
-
Hardwired. I hear Starlink isn’t a bad option as a way to get internet in your situation
-
@Tylerslikewhoa Yeah my family and I have looked at that but you have to have a direct view to the satellite so we’d have to cut down a bunch trees that aren’t even ours. I just wish technology wouldn’t have any issues by now

I usually don't blame people's Internet until they prove they have connection issues or not but if you're on anything cellular you're going to get packet loss and speed fluctuations.
If all you have is cellular options get a solid gaming router with a USB conversion feature, connect it to your 5G modem either by Ethernet or if the USB feature is your only option use that (that's why you should have a router with that feature in case Ethernet fails for 5G cellular). Get an Ethernet for your console to connect to that router and that's about the most solid connection you can get for cellular home service.Once that's done you can setup port forwarding and use the router to help stabilize your connections to everything not just the show.
