This game is dead the casuals have left

@VioletNine9 that’s because “casuals” don’t play events. “Casuals” finish programs like BR and Ranked, the move on to other things until the next program, or play Co-op. They don’t play two week old events.
There's probably a lot of truth to this. In previous years, though, Events was much more mixed. Disclaimer: I haven't played Events at all this year, just going off of what people are reporting.

@Pergo if you just took insult from anything I just said then that's YOU problem. Google some basic home network management skills. You'll be happy you did.
-
@AdeptOfMemory Thanks for proving my point for me. Good luck getting your connection issues fixed, I know they can be frustrating, but once I got mine fixed I haven't had any freezing issues in 2 years now!
-
@VioletNine9 SOOOOOO, after reading all these comments....basically what youre saying is, because you cant play "casuals" or people you can beat (which sounds like everyone you play you can't beat) the game is dead. So you suck at the game, so the game is dead. By that logic i can't play the guitar so music is dead. Go cry else where. Does the game have issues, absolutely. Will the game be dead by the end of July maybe. But its definetly not dead now. Maybe you should try something else, i hear the lego games are good for kids under 5, and they are usually pretty cheap. Maybe go buy Lego Harry Potter? I'll save you the insult, i'm a SDS white knight, bootlicker or shill. But hey i win way more games than i lose, and think the game has all sorts of issues. Now run upstairs tell your mom that someone was picking on you on the internet and get you a hot pocket and stfu.

@Pergo I proved to you that nothing needs fixed?
-
@AdeptOfMemory Nope, you proved that I was right that you would throw another temper tantrum. I'm willing to bet it won't be long until the next one either.
-
@Loyal-Wiglaf I know that’s what I do, I’m not sure how a “casual” would be defined, but it’s someone who doesn’t play online H2H, just to play? Then I’m one of them. Once I get to the rewards, I’d rather play co-op, or mini seasons if I hop on. Right now I’m playing Fallout 4 until Friday
-
@Pergo I mean guess but you also proved you're an SDS simp who knows nothing about network. I mean that's ok.
-
Hey, I can play the guitar! Music is NOT dead, even though Dickey Betts died. =(
-
@Loyal-Wiglaf some genres are sadly dead.

Ah yes, the go to "SDS simp" line whenever you realize you're wrong and have nothing else. My favorite!
-
@Pergo But......you haven't said where I was wrong? And this forum is full of SDS simps. That's what I call you. It's not like I'm just NOT gonna call you what you are. SDS simp. Just the fax

@arvcpa
Don’t fret bro, you posted a perfectly reasonable response but the OP wasn’t having it. He’s the type who pours hot coffee on a three legged puppy. Don’t waste any more seconds on this guy.
That @arvcpa sounds like a great guy. A class-act all the way.
Don't hurt yourself patting yourself on the back with your X-Box account LMAO. What's up buddy?
-
@AdeptOfMemory Anyone can see my posts and easily tell I'm not an "SDS simp". Just the "fax".
-
@Pergo So you say.

Then why is finding matches in BR and Ranked far faster than it was at any point last year?
Event mode is anti-casual, I got my 2 doubles for Easter and its doubtful I'll ever play it againThis is true but I don’t think it’s because of player population, I’m pretty sure they just loosened matchmaking restrictions. Never in my time playing this game, even at the peak of huge content drops, have I found a match immediately after queuing up. The last week or so it has been immediate every single time

So I played about 10 more event games last night the worst player I ran into was 60-32 the game is dead I have see no casuals in weeks. I don’t accept the idea that it’s just bad luck like the crappy hitting that will reward late and early swings with moon beams but good pci/timing are outs. If it’s consistent it’s not bad luck.
Question:
Are casual and bad synonymous for you? If that record had been 32-60 would they then be a casual? I would say no since they apparently would have put in the same number of hours as the 60-32 player.
Casual to me is a measure of time spent and not skill.
I doubt I have the time but I would be curious to see who I would get matched up against if I chose to play events with my 0-1 online record.

Sure but that would be to keep matchmaking times down/at the same level. If queue time went up from like 20 seconds to 1 minute and then back down to 20 seconds, I could see that argument. But the time went from 20 seconds (these are just arbitrary numbers to explain my point) to 0 seconds randomly, not sure we can discern anything on player count from the matchmaking time in this case.

@Doctor-Fauci910 generally you can just go to YouTube and twitch to see viewership numbers and just do a good estimate.
Like if CoD on Twitch has 100,000 people watching cod streams it's save to say the game isn't dead. If there's 100 people watching The Show streams you can safely say the game is dead when compared to your every day common video game.
