Bot Opponents?

Ran into my first one yesterday. I thought they were like bigfoot and didn't exist. But they do, like the Loch Ness Monster.

I’ve literally ran into 5 or 6 in the past week.
Is ranked always like this with bots? On Xbox at least. I don’t usually spam so much ranked but it was the easiest way to get TA3 progression.

I got 3 bots today … The other non-cpu rage-quit early (I did not even hit). Way to spend an hour on the game. Now I am into the 600s (where I probably do not belong)
Let‘s be clear: This is the most annoying think that happens on xbox. And yes, it is well ahead of effing shield woods

I have never heard this before but I only play on PS5. There are bot players? I guess it makes since if it’s on Xbox. Dang, learn something new…

Yep, xbox-thing … new this year and I cannot imagine how this is possible (you have to pay for gamepass) and why it is still a problem. I had roughly about 10 in my 40+ ranked season matches.

Once you get to the 500s then you shouldn't run into anymore bots

That’s my thought. Every time I look for a game “Opponent Found” immediately. I’m around 550-600 rating and I’ve had 4 this week.

@Dookie-Possum good idea, but maybe a little bit too much conspiracy
. Maybe it is their internal robots that constantly check the health of their system. That is pretty common in the software business. But maybe their mechanism fails matching them together constantly -
I got a good advice… If you match up quickly, go and check your recent opponents. If there is „a real name“ (other than e.g. „xkkddsadfhdkdl“ or simply nothing), then you do not have a bot. Worked for me two times tonight. The ones I went back were the ones were nothing appeared in my „last opponent“-screen.

Does not work all-the-time, but I did nove any above 600
